Description
The selected candidate will support Another Star’s running operations at citizenM hotels by helping out in our Support Office on a range of topics. In short, the Food and Beverage Team is responsible for the strategic direction and the running of the F&B program in our citizenM hotels globally.
Key Responsibilities
- you will learn all about F&B at citizenM; supporting the global F&B team with a wide variety of projects around guest satisfaction, quality standards and trainings
- you will support work on our ePOS systems, learn how to make analyses that helps drive the business
- you will support the global F&B team with insights on performance using different powerBi dashboards and other tools to help drive our focus and decision making process
- visit various hotels and help implement projects and train teams
- expand your communication skills by planning and supporting internal training sessions
- analyze and propose new ways to improve the quality of F&B in the hotels
- use your creative talent to help come up with new ideas for our F&B program
- maintain our ESG initiatives, helping to limit waste, reduce plastic and more
- help safeguard the quality across our hotels through quality audits
Qualifications / skills
- available for six or more months, preferred starting date = September 1st
- a student enrolled at a university during the entire duration of the internship
- smart thinker with empathy and real caring for people
- community and collaborative thinker
- gifted at giving and receiving feedback
- fluent in English, spoken and written. Additional language skills are well accepted
- ambitious, motivated, and eager to learn... and most importantly, you are having fun while doing it!

- Monday to Friday, ideally 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule based on school schedule.
- Roles based in Amsterdam / Leiden, will require travel across EU and US
- Hybrid role, not fully remote
- Must have the right to work in the country for which you are applying
- Interviews will start as of April 23rd
- Start date = September 1st
- Duration = at least five months
Core Responsibilities
The intern will support the global F&B team with strategic projects, guest satisfaction initiatives, and quality audits across hotels. They will also utilize data dashboards to analyze business performance and assist in the implementation of new F&B programs.
Requirements
Candidates must be university students available for at least six months starting September 1st. Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and a collaborative mindset are required.
