About the Role
As a Processing Attendant, you will be an integral part of our production team, assisting with the processing and production of our delicious fresh and smoked salmon. Working on a dynamic production line, you’ll operate machinery to slice, cut, weigh, and package a range of high-quality products.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and passionate team. While previous experience in a processing environment is preferred, it's not essential—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. If you have a great attitude and are ready for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the processing and production of fresh and smoked salmon on a fast-paced production line.
- Operate machinery to accurately slice, cut, weigh, and package a variety of products.
- Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and food safety.
- Rigorously follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and compliant workplace for yourself and your team.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for the waitlist, you must possess the following:
- Full availability to work shifts Monday to Friday each week, including early morning starts (4am or 5am).
- Ability to work comfortably in a cold food-processing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence are essential.
- A current Forklift ticket is highly desirable.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol test.
- Full-time working rights in Australia.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate starting from $31 per hour (including 25% casual loading).
- Work with a supportive, passionate, and collaborative team.
- Huge potential for career development and progression.
- Opportunities for ongoing skill development.
- Generous employee discount on our range of seafood products.
- Workplace health and wellbeing support for you and your family.
Please Note: This is an Expression of Interest only. Submitting an EOI does not guarantee an offer of employment or an interview. Your details will be kept on file, and a member of our team will contact you directly when suitable casual opportunities arise.
Register Your Interest! If you're ready to be considered for future opportunities with Australia's largest salmon producer, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your Expression of Interest today to be added to our waitlist.
