Our opportunity for you Vistra is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Services Accountant Real Estate. You will deliver accounting services and advice to Real Estate firms. This sector specific Accounting Team consists of 7 accountants and a manager. Scope Together with the other accountant in the team, you will provide the best service to your client portfolio in terms of ensuring the integrity of accounting records, providing customised interim reports, assisting on complex client transactions and coordinating the VAT and CIT calculations with the Tax Advisor. As Senior Accountant in the team, you work independently, are open to leading/participating in projects and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Key Responsibilities Performs sector specific accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and disclosures; Ensuring the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting standards; Ensures producing client customised interim reports, Investor reporting and Waterfall calculations for the clients; Provides assistance on complex client transactions (capital calls, distributions, sale & purchase of assets, complex loans, etc) and manages the booking in the accounting system; Client contact in order to support relationship manager; Relationship manager contact on internal Vistra matters. Attributes & Skills Expert level of Dutch GAAP; Preparation of financial statements and consolidation; Computerized accounting packages; Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and legislation (Book 2, Title 9) as well as tax and compliance aspects; Knowledge of IFRS is a pre; Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, verbally and written; Sound knowledge of ViewPoint and WorkSite; Sound knowledge of compliance standards. Relevant Experience 5 - 7 years of experience (audit or accounting); Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing / coaching a small (junior) finance team. Education/Professional Qualifications HBO Bachelor specialization in Finance (e.g. Accountancy, HEAO Business Economics, SPD) or Master Specialization in Finance (e.g. Business Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or Fiscal economics). Core Responsibilities

Deliver accounting services and advice to real estate clients, maintaining accurate accounting records and preparing financial statements and customized interim and investor reports. Support complex transactions, coordinate tax calculations with tax advisors, maintain client and relationship-manager contact, and contribute to projects while supporting less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

Candidates should have 5–7 years of audit or accounting experience, including at least 2 years managing or coaching a small junior finance team, and a finance-related bachelor’s or master’s degree. Requirements include expert Dutch GAAP knowledge, financial statement preparation and consolidation experience, familiarity with accounting legislation and compliance, strong Dutch and English, and knowledge of ViewPoint and WorkSite; IFRS knowledge is preferred.
