For our Operations department in Volendam and/or Edam we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person; Operator (full-time) You work in a fixed schedule Afternoon service: 14:30 – 23:00 What are you going to do? As an Operator, you work alongside your colleagues to ensure that the production process runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You play an important role in the processing and packaging of high-quality shrimp products. Your Duties Will Include Setting up, converting, and operating packaging machines; Performing quality and process checks; The detection and resolution of any malfunctions and deviations; Cleaning machines in accordance with applicable hygiene and safety regulations; Contribute to a safe, efficient and hygienic working environment; Working together with colleagues to ensure that the production process runs smoothly. What are you bringing? A completed technical secondary school diploma, preferably VAPRO; Experience as an Operator or in a similar technical position; Experience in the food industry is a plus; Technical insight and a practical, solution-oriented attitude; You can work well both independently and as part of a team.; You live in the Netherlands.; You have a good command of the English language; Dutch is a plus; Basic knowledge of food safety or the willingness to learn it; You work precisely and have an eye for quality, safety and hygiene. What do we offer? Core Responsibilities

Set up, convert, and operate packaging machines while carrying out quality and process checks on shrimp production. Detect and resolve malfunctions, clean equipment according to hygiene and safety rules, and work with colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient production process.

Requirements

Applicants should have completed technical secondary education, preferably VAPRO, and have experience as an operator or in a similar technical role; food-industry experience is an advantage. They should have technical insight, a practical and solution-oriented approach, basic food-safety knowledge or willingness to learn, precision, teamwork skills, residence in the Netherlands, and good English; Dutch is an advantage.
