Facility Coordinator

Location: Eindhoven, the Netherlands

Join our team

Are you a practical and proactive facility professional who enjoys keeping a busy operational environment safe, reliable and well organized?

As Facility Coordinator, you are the central point of contact for facility management, maintenance and building-related services at our warehouse in Eindhoven. You coordinate contractors, suppliers, the building owner and our operational partners, making sure that issues and improvement actions are followed through from initial request to completion.

This is a broad and hands-on coordination role in an international warehouse environment. You combine daily facility operations with maintenance planning, supplier and contract management, financial administration and small improvement projects.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership, build strong working relationships and make a visible contribution to the reliability and continuous improvement of our Eindhoven site.

About your job

In this role, you make sure that the warehouse facilities, building services and supporting infrastructure are safe, reliable, well maintained and fit for purpose.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for facility, maintenance and building-related matters at the Eindhoven warehouse
  • Coordinating maintenance, repairs and facility improvements with technical representatives, the building owner, landlords, contractors and service providers
  • Making sure preventive maintenance schedules are current and that corrective actions are completed
  • Monitoring open requests and making sure issues are resolved within a reasonable timeframe
  • Maintaining clear records of maintenance activities, inspections, agreements and open actions
  • Coordinating third-party suppliers and contractors and monitoring their performance against agreed service levels
  • Participating in supplier review meetings and following up on agreed actions
  • Making sure contractors comply with contractual agreements and Sandvik’s environment, health and safety requirements
  • Reviewing facility contracts and supporting tenders, contract renewals and supplier changes when required
  • Requesting and reviewing quotations and supporting purchase orders, invoice follow-up and budget monitoring
  • Communicating planned maintenance, service interruptions, risks and facility changes to relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinating small facility projects, such as renovations, workplace improvements and infrastructure upgrades
  • Identifying opportunities to improve safety, service quality, reliability, sustainability and cost efficiency

You will work closely with facility resources from our local 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL), technical representatives, the building owner and external service providers. Clear coordination and constructive stakeholder relationships will be important to your success.

What you bring

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, sets clear priorities and follows actions through to completion. You are comfortable working independently while coordinating with different internal and external stakeholders.

  • Several years of experience in facility management, building management, technical services, maintenance coordination or a comparable operational role
  • Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and external service providers
  • A practical, proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to prioritize multiple requests and keep stakeholders informed
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Full professional proficiency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
  • The ability and willingness to work on-site at our warehouse in Eindhoven

The following experience would be an advantage:

  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, industrial or technical environment
  • Experience managing service contracts, service levels and supplier performance
  • Experience with quotations, budgets, purchase orders and invoice management
  • Experience coordinating small facility, maintenance or workplace improvement projects
