Location: Remote (EU) — with a preference for candidates based in Germany, the UK, or the Netherlands (due to our client's hub and the strong local FinTech/Go talent pool). Employment Type: Full-time, B2B Contract Experience Level: Lead Salary: 4500$ / Monthly English level: Advanced (С1) Working hours: 09:00-18:00 CEST Valletta Software delivers custom web, mobile, and desktop application development, along with staff augmentation of senior engineers, to companies across the EU and the US. Our client base spans fintech, healthtech, agritech, and e-commerce. This particular role is delivered through Valletta Software as a vendor/contractor for an end client in Germany. Valletta Software manages the full lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing support of the specialist on the project. What You'll Do Lead-specific responsibilities: own scalable distributed-system design and concurrency trade-offs; translate product goals into technical roadmaps; surface risks and constraints; represent engineering to external stakeholders and push back on unrealistic requirements; lead reviews and mentor senior engineers; improve CI/CD and unblock technical delivery. Requirements Must-have: 5-6+ years Go; 2+ years in a leadership role; Distributed systems and Go concurrency; FinTech/banking and complex integrations; AI implementation/configuration in an engineering team; CS-related higher education; CI/CD; Сlient live coding readiness. Nice-to-have: insurance domain.

Requirements
Requires 5–6+ years of Go experience, 2+ years in a leadership role, and experience with distributed systems, Go concurrency, FinTech or banking integrations, AI implementation or configuration, and CI/CD. A computer science-related higher education qualification and readiness for client live coding are required; insurance experience is a plus.
