Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Fibre Optic & Structured Cabling Technician to carry out fibre optic and copper cabling installation, termination, labelling and testing activities. The engineer will be responsible for installing MPO fibre assemblies, Cat6A modules, cable looms and associated infrastructure components while ensuring quality, accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Key Responsibilities Install Propel X-Frame Splicing Kits. Install, label and test 24-core Single-Mode (SM) MPO fibre assemblies. Install, terminate and label Cat6A modules. Install, label and test 6 x Cat6A cable looms, with one blunt end prepared for termination. Perform fibre optic and copper cabling installation and termination activities. Ensure all cables, modules and connections are properly labelled and organised. Conduct testing and verification of installed cabling. Identify and report installation defects or connectivity issues. Maintain accurate installation and testing records. Follow site safety procedures and project installation standards. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience in fibre optic and structured cabling installation. Practical knowledge of Single-Mode (SM) MPO fibre systems. Experience with Cat6A cable installation, termination and testing. Familiarity with cable looms, modules, connectors and labelling standards. Ability to use relevant fibre and copper cable testing equipment. Experience working in data centres, telecom environments or network infrastructure projects. Ability to read and follow technical installation instructions. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Preferred Experience Previous data centre cabling or network infrastructure deployment experience. Experience with MPO fibre assemblies and Cat6A structured cabling systems. Knowledge of fibre optic testing and copper cable certification procedures. Work Requirements Hands-on onsite installation work. Ability to complete installation, termination, labelling and testing tasks. Compliance with project timelines, quality standards and site safety requirements.

Install, terminate, label, and test fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure, including MPO fibre assemblies, Cat6A modules, and cable looms. Verify installation quality, document test results, report defects, and follow project specifications and site safety procedures.
Requirements
Requires hands-on experience installing fibre optic and structured cabling, practical knowledge of Single-Mode MPO systems, and experience with Cat6A installation, termination, and testing. Candidates should be able to use cable testing equipment, follow technical instructions, and work safely and accurately on infrastructure projects.
