Job Description

Junior Tax Specialist | The Hague An opportunity to develop beyond tax compliance within a close-knit advisory firm. For a well-established, mid-sized accountancy and tax advisory firm in The Hague, I am looking for a Junior Tax Specialist to strengthen their tax team. The opportunity You will join a team of approximately 35 professionals, working in a personal and informal environment where knowledge sharing, professional development and client relationships are central. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing income tax, corporate income tax and VAT returns. Working on tax advisory matters and researching relevant legislation and regulations. Preparing technical tax advice, objections and supporting documentation. Identifying tax optimisation opportunities for both businesses and individuals. Working on more complex matters, including Box 3 actual return calculations. Getting involved in Estate Planning and other tax-related projects. Maintaining direct relationships with clients and supporting them with their tax matters. What makes this opportunity interesting? Broad development: Exposure to multiple tax disciplines rather than specialising in just one area. Client exposure: Direct client contact and responsibility from an early stage. Career progression: Training opportunities and room to develop your technical knowledge and advisory skills. Work-life balance: An environment where hard work is appreciated, but going home on time is equally valued. What is offered? Salary: €42,000 – €50,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Bonus scheme rewarding your performance and contribution. 27 vacation days, with the possibility of extending this to 31. Premium-free pension scheme.
