Vacatureomschrijving We are looking for an experienced AIT Technician to support the assembly, integration and testing of high-precision aerospace structures within a technically demanding production environment. You will be responsible for performing precision assembly activities, interpreting technical documentation and ensuring work is completed according to strict quality and safety standards. This role is fully on-site and offers the opportunity to work on advanced engineering projects within an international high-tech manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform precision assembly of aluminium and composite structures Execute drilling, reaming, countersinking and riveting activities Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and production documentation Use specialised tools, fixtures and equipment during assembly processes Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of completed work Follow established safety, quality and manufacturing procedures Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives Functie-eisen Technical education (MBO level or equivalent practical experience) Hands-on experience in precision assembly, manufacturing or production environments Experience with drilling, reaming, countersinking and riveting Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Experience within aerospace, aviation, defence or high-tech manufacturing is preferred Strong attention to detail and quality Good command of English, both spoken and written Able to work independently and as part of a team Aanvullende informatie Start: As soon as possible. Duration: 9–12 months with a possibility of extension. Working hours: Mostly afternoon/evening shift, 14:00–23:00, Monday to Friday. Core Responsibilities

Assemble aluminium and composite aerospace structures using precision processes such as drilling, reaming, countersinking, and riveting. Interpret technical documentation, perform inspections and quality checks, maintain traceability, and follow safety and manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

Requires technical education at MBO level or equivalent practical experience, hands-on precision assembly or manufacturing experience, and familiarity with drilling, reaming, countersinking, and riveting. Candidates should be able to interpret technical drawings, demonstrate strong attention to quality, communicate well in English, and work independently and collaboratively; aerospace or other high-tech manufacturing experience is preferred.
