Job Description

As Junior Procurement Officer, you keep LYNX's procurement running smoothly and in line with regulation. You make sure every purchase request, supplier and contract is handled correctly, from the first request to the final contract record. You are the first point of contact for colleagues across our European offices on day-to-day procurement questions. In this role, you work closely with the Procurement Specialist and with colleagues from Customer Due Diligence, Information Security and Privacy. You check incoming purchase requests, support requests for quotation, onboard new suppliers and keep our procurement system, Ivalua, accurate and complete. Because LYNX operates in a regulated environment, your work directly supports our compliance with rules such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). You combine precision with a structured way of working. You enjoy keeping records in order, following processes through to the end and helping colleagues find their way, while learning every day from experienced colleagues. What You'll Do Check incoming purchase requests for completeness, including budget, description and intake questionnaire, and route them to the right approver. Help colleagues complete the procurement intake questionnaire, and flag requests involving personal data, ICT services or outsourcing to the Procurement Specialist. Prepare requests for quotation from standard templates, send them to suppliers, collect quotes and build comparison overviews. For larger tenders, you manage timelines, supplier questions and documents. Collect supplier onboarding documents, such as company registration extracts, financial statements, security certifications and signed data processing agreements, and track due diligence with the relevant teams. Create and maintain accurate supplier records in Ivalua once due diligence is complete. Upload signed contracts to Ivalua, record key dates such as start and end dates, notice periods and renewals, and remind colleagues well before each deadline. Keep the DORA Register of Information complete and up to date, and report any gaps to the Procurement Specialist. Plan annual supplier reviews with colleagues, request the required evidence from suppliers, and keep our supplier registers up to date. File all procurement documentation in our central repository, so everything is ready for audits at all times. Answer day-to-day procurement and Ivalua questions from colleagues in all branches, and escalate anything outside the standard process. Who You Are You are accurate, structured and eager to learn. You enjoy working with data and documents, and you take pride in keeping records complete and correct. You can manage several open requests at once and set clear priorities. You communicate in a clear and friendly way with colleagues and suppliers, and you know when to escalate rather than decide alone. You handle confidential supplier and contract information with discretion and integrity. In Addition, You Have A bachelor's degree, for example in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or Law. 0–1 year of experience in procurement, contract administration, operations or a comparable role (internships count). Good command of Excel or similar spreadsheet tools. The ability to follow structured processes and approval workflows. Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. Nice To Have Experience with Ivalua or another procurement, ERP or contract management system. Interest in, or first experience with, a regulated environment such as financial services, banking or insurance. Basic awareness of DORA or the GDPR. What We Offer At LYNX, we believe our people are the key to our success. You'll join a team in an international, professional environment where accuracy and ownership make a real difference. You Can Expect A role with real responsibility for keeping procurement compliant and audit-ready. Close collaboration with and coaching from the Procurement Specialist. Room to grow your knowledge of procurement and regulation in financial services. A fixed 13th month. A pension scheme. Travel expense reimbursement. An annual training budget of €2,000 for your professional development. Regular team activities, drinks and company events. Who We Are LYNX helps investors take control of their financial future.
