Vacatureomschrijving We are looking for a Senior Application Solution Designer with deep expertise in Serrala solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. In this role, you will ensure IT stability through solution design across multiple applications, translating business requirements into scalable and integrated solutions aligned with architecture guidelines. Acting as the Serrala Subject Matter Expert, you will support banking and reconciliation processes, guide solution decisions across complex system landscapes, and collaborate closely with both business and IT stakeholders within a large-scale international SAP transformation programme. Responsibilities Ensure IT stability through solution design aligned with architecture guidelines and technical roadmaps. Design and review solutions across multiple systems and applications. Translate business requirements and user stories into detailed solution and integration designs. Analyse end-to-end reconciliation processes involving connected systems, SAP In-House Banking (IHB) and Serrala Alevate. Troubleshoot posting, matching and clearing exceptions. Configure and support integrations with SAP modules, including IS-U, FI-CA and SAP FI. Design, maintain and optimise Serrala AutoBank matching and posting rules. Assess functional impacts across applications, interfaces, data models, sequence flows and non-functional requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date solution design documentation. Propose technologies, design patterns and technical improvements in collaboration with development teams. Identify solution design improvements and refactoring opportunities and align priorities with Product Owners and stakeholders. Provide expert guidance to implementation and support teams on Serrala-related topics. Support defect resolution activities and ensure alignment with agreed solution designs. Evaluate incoming change requests and coordinate alignment between business and IT stakeholders. Contribute to the ongoing development of the application and solution landscape. Functie-eisen 10+ years of experience as a Solution Designer, Application Solution Designer, Solution Architect, or in a similar role. Deep hands-on experience with Serrala AutoBank. Strong expertise in bank statement processing and reconciliation processes. Proven experience configuring AutoBank matching and posting rules. Experience with ISO 20022 and CAMT transformations. Strong understanding of SAP FI integration and associated finance business processes. Experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programmes. Knowledge of SAP In-House Banking (IHB), IS-U and FI-CA integrations. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to independently analyse issues, identify solutions, and drive topics to completion. Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert within enterprise-scale environments. Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Team-oriented attitude and collaborative approach. Dutch and/or German language skills are considered a strong advantage. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Requires 10 or more years of experience in solution design, architecture, or a similar role, with deep hands-on Serrala AutoBank expertise and strong knowledge of bank statement processing, reconciliation, and SAP FI integration. Candidates should have experience with SAP S/4HANA programmes, ISO 20022 and CAMT transformations, and relevant SAP integrations; Dutch or German language skills are advantageous.
