Job Description

About the Role Customer Service is changing. Traditionally, a significant amount of time was spent on manual order processing and operational follow-up. Today, we are increasingly working with smart systems, data and automated processes. As a Customer Service Specialist at iGM Resins, you will play an important role in this development. You will ensure reliable and proactive service to our international customers, using ERP systems, reports and digital tools to monitor the order process, identify deviations at an early stage and take targeted action. Your role goes beyond managing the day-to-day operation. You will also actively contribute ideas on how we can organise our processes in a smarter, more efficient and more customer-focused way. We are therefore not necessarily looking for someone with many years of Customer Service or export experience. What matters most is that you are analytically strong, comfortable working with systems, take ownership and are motivated by continuous improvement. What is your Role? You will report to the Regional Customer Operations & Fulfilment Manager and will be part of the team responsible for ensuring reliable order fulfilment, from order receipt through to final delivery. You will work closely with colleagues across Supply Planning, Logistics, Finance, Quality and Commercial Operations. Your Impact: Coordinate international customer orders and export shipments from A to Z. Monitor the order-to-delivery process using ERP systems, dashboards and reports. Proactively identify and resolve issues such as delays, missing information and delivery problems. Prioritise actions based on customer impact, delivery reliability and operational risks. Communicate professionally and proactively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding order status, deliveries and potential issues. Coordinate international customer orders and related logistics and export activities, supported by standardised processes. Analyse recurring issues and contribute to structural and sustainable solutions. Actively contribute to the standardisation, digitalisation and automation of Customer Service and Fulfilment processes. Identify data-quality issues and work with the relevant colleagues to implement sustainable improvements. In this role, reliability, ownership, analytical ability and digital skills make the difference. Who are you? You have several years of experience within Customer Service, export, logistics or supply chain coordination in an international B2B environment and have an affinity with export processes and export documentation. However, your way of thinking, digital capabilities and willingness to learn are at least as important to us as your previous work experience. You combine a customer-focused mindset with strong analytical skills, digital capabilities and a drive to continuously improve processes. You are accurate, organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. You are analytical and can translate information from systems and reports into concrete actions. You communicate professionally and customer-focused with both external customers and internal stakeholders. You are comfortable working with digital systems and quickly learn new applications. You are proactive, solution-oriented and able to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office is required, and you are curious about automation and AI. You are data-driven and have a strong focus on data quality. You work effectively within an international and multicultural organisation. You recognise yourself in iGM's 5C Culture: Commitment, Curiosity, Creativity, Collaboration and Customer Centricity. What we Offer An impactful role within an international organisation and a department that is actively modernising. You will have the opportunity to take ownership, develop new skills and actively contribute to improvements in digitalisation, automation and customer centricity. We offer a competitive salary and attractive secondary benefits, together with a professional, informal and collegial working environment.
