Cognizant is looking for a experienced Plant IT Coordinator for lifecycle execution. You will be the on-site IT point of contact for plant lifecycle management: identifying IT/OT devices reaching end of life, planning the refresh with plant stakeholders, and physically executing it on the shop floor with minimal disruption to production In This Role, You Will Own the lifecycle plan for plant IT/OT devices and coordinate with plant operations, site management, vendors and regional IT Identify devices reaching end of life towards lifecycle Execute the refresh on site: device replacement, imaging/configuration, cabling, testing, handover and decommission. Schedule work around production windows and coordinate downtime with plant teams Maintain accurate plant IT/OT asset inventory, network diagrams and technical documentation Follow OT cybersecurity, local plant safety and PPE requirements at all times Travel by car to other sites when required What You Need To Have To Be Considered 5+ years of overall IT experience (infrastructure, end-user/field support or similar) Minimum 2 years working in a manufacturing/plant environment in an IT, OT or automation support role Hands-on, field-based experience: comfortable working on the shop floor, in production areas and in a PPE environment Based in or near one of the plant locations (or willing to be on site daily) Willingness to complete plant safety training and medical fitness checks before starting These Will Help You Stand Out Asset management/lifecycle or hardware refresh project experience Exposure to MES/MOM, SCADA or PLC environments (Siemens, Rockwell, AVEVA, etc.) Knowledge of OT/IT architecture, ISA-95, IEC 62443 ITIL or service management knowledge We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. Core Responsibilities

Own the lifecycle plan for plant IT/OT devices, identify equipment nearing end of life, and coordinate refreshes with plant operations, site management, vendors, and regional IT. Execute on-site replacements, configuration, cabling, testing, handover, and decommissioning while minimizing production disruption and maintaining accurate asset and technical documentation.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of overall IT experience and at least two years supporting IT, OT, or automation in a manufacturing or plant environment. Candidates must be comfortable working on the shop floor in PPE, be based near a plant or willing to attend daily, and complete required safety training and medical fitness checks.
