To strengthen and become part of our Service and Technical Support department, we announce the following vacancy in the European HQ in The Netherlands: European Service Support Specialist MR What will you do? In the role of European Service Support Specialist, you will become responsible for the practical support for the European Service organization and the transfer of technical knowledge and experiences to internal and external colleagues through both classroom and on-line training as well as through field support. Keeping up to date with product information and contribute to the introduction (technical part) of new products in close collaboration with the Business Unit and Japan is also part of your job. In addition, you will coordinate and execute projects and analyze service data. What do you bring? As our European Service Support Specialist MR you have the ability to work under pressure and to solve complex and urgent problems. Education: Bachelor-level, trained in a technical field; Experience as a Support Specialist in medical equipment is a plus; Technical knowledge of Canon products is a major plus; Oral and written proficiency in English; Diplomacy and persuasiveness to obtain the corporation of various parties with different interests; You live in the Netherlands or nearby or are willing to relocate. Core Responsibilities

Provide practical support to the European Service organization and transfer technical knowledge to internal and external colleagues through classroom and online training, as well as field support. Maintain product knowledge, support technical aspects of new product introductions, coordinate and execute projects, and analyze service data.

Requirements

Bachelor-level education in a technical field and the ability to solve complex, urgent problems under pressure are required. Experience supporting medical equipment and knowledge of Canon products are advantages; proficiency in spoken and written English, diplomacy, and persuasiveness are also sought.
