As part of the JHB Group, we are committed to building a professional and future-proof HR organization that supports our mission of excellence in care. Our focus is on fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. We believe in empowering our teams and leaders to develop their skills and contribute meaningfully to the growth and sustainability of our services. Our HR department plays a crucial role in this journey, driving initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing, streamline processes, and uphold compliance with relevant laws and regulations. About The Role We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and make a significant impact within our large and growing healthcare organization. In this role, you will act as a trusted HR partner for regional managers and team leaders, providing expert advice and support on complex issues related to absenteeism, labor law, and organizational development. Your role is pivotal in not only addressing current challenges but also empowering leaders to independently manage future HR matters. You will be responsible for advising on absenteeism management, reintegration, sustainable employability, and compliance with the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter). Additionally, you will translate legislation, collective labor agreements (CAO VVT), employment conditions, and HR policies into practical solutions. Collaboration with departments such as HR Administration, Recruitment, Learning & Development, and fellow HR Advisors is essential to ensure a cohesive and efficient HR service. This position offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to organize your work within your region effectively. You will be part of a team of eight HR Advisors who share knowledge, discuss complex cases, and collectively strive to provide consistent and professional HR support. One day per week, the team convenes at our headquarters in Rosmalen for meetings, knowledge sharing, and alignment. Your contributions will be visible and valued as part of our ongoing efforts to develop and enhance HR practices within Actief Zorg. Qualifications HBO level of education and thinking. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Advisor in a comparable environment, with a focus on absenteeism and/or labor law. Proven ability to independently manage complex HR issues and proactively advise managers on approaches, risks, and next steps. Knowledge of and experience with the Wet verbetering poortwachter and CAO VVT. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to act as a solid sparring partner for management. Ability to translate legislation and HR policy into practical advice and processes. CROV certification is considered a plus. Self-driven and capable of working independently with significant autonomy. Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR partner for regional managers and team leaders, providing expert advice and support. Advise on absenteeism, reintegration, sustainable employability, and compliance with relevant labor laws including the Wet verbetering poortwachter. Translate legislation, collective labor agreements (CAO VVT), employment conditions, and HR policies into daily practice. Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of HR policies. Collaborate closely with HR Administration, Recruitment, Learning & Development, and other HR Advisors to ensure consistent service delivery. Manage the quality and progress of HR advice and the associated processes. Support the ongoing professionalization and development of HR within Actief Zorg. Participate in weekly team meetings for knowledge sharing and coordination. Proactively identify and address complex HR challenges and provide strategic recommendations. Work independently within your region to organize and prioritize your responsibilities effectively. Benefits A challenging and autonomous role with significant responsibility and impact. Opportunity to work within a large, professional healthcare organization undergoing positive transformation. Collaborative team environment with regular knowledge sharing and support. Access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Flexible work arrangements including a combination of remote work and on-site meetings. Contribute to meaningful work that improves the quality of life for patients and employees alike. Equal Opportunity Actief Zorg is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all employees feel respected, valued, and empowered to contribute their unique talents.
