About The Job Are you a true early riser and do you just love the early morning? Do you take care of those tasty, fresh croissants? Are you the one who can make sure that our guests have a fantastic morning? If so, then you could be our new Breakfast Employee! WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Early in the morning, you enter the breakfast restaurant and check the schedule for any special events to make sure everything is in order. Has everything been restocked? Are the tables properly arranged and clean? When the first visitors show up, you have freshly baked croissants ready and serve them a delicious cappuccino. Meanwhile, you have a nice chat with your guests. You can't resist telling them about your favorite places in Amsterdam and that new lunch spot by the waterside. After cleaning your last table, it’s time to prepare everything for the next day. You arrange lunch for your colleagues in the canteen. LEONARDO HOTEL LELYSTAD CITY CENTER Our hotel is ideally located in the heart of Lelystad. From the train station, it is just a five-minute walk to the hotel. From here, you can easily explore the youngest part of the Netherlands. Relax in our comfortable rooms and enjoy dining at the restaurants located within the same building. Within fifteen minutes, you can reach the Oostvaardersplassen, an impressive nature reserve covering 5,600 hectares. A visit to Batavia Werf or the Aviodrome is also possible. Plenty of choice! Leonardo Hotel Lelystad City Center features 86 rooms, 3 meeting rooms and a large F&B area. Job Requirements WHO ARE YOU You always put the guest first. You are flexible, energetic and calm in any situation. You have experience as a receptionist; F&B experience is a plus. You work well independently and in a team. You are proactive, responsible and a real go-getter. Experience with reservation systems and first aid is an advantage. You speak fluent Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus. At least two years of hospitality experience. You can easily travel to work at all times. To be considered for this role, applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? Core Responsibilities

Prepare the breakfast restaurant for service by checking event schedules, restocking supplies, arranging and cleaning tables, and preparing fresh pastries and drinks. Welcome and serve guests, share local recommendations, clean tables, prepare the restaurant for the next day, and arrange lunch for colleagues.

Requirements

Applicants should have at least two years of hospitality experience, fluent Dutch and English, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; receptionist experience is requested, while food and beverage experience is an advantage. Candidates should be flexible, energetic, calm, proactive, responsible, able to commute at all times, and be an EU citizen or hold a valid Netherlands work permit; reservation-system and first-aid experience are advantageous.
