At a glance Would you like to turn strategy into measurable, lasting change at ABN AMRO? Strategy Execution & Implementation (SE&I) is our Centre of Expertise for Change. As Junior consultant (Hay 8) you will contribute to strategic change projects across the bank. At the same time, you will develop your consulting skills through hands-on assignments, coaching and continuous learning. Together, we make strategy work. Your job As a Junior Consultant, you take responsibility for clearly defined work packages. Experienced colleagues will guide you, while giving you room to grow. You use structured analysis, project management skills and stakeholder communication to deliver high-quality results. What You Will Do Prepare clear analyses, presentations, reports and workshop materials. Analyse project information and turn findings into practical insights. Ask critical questions and constructively challenge existing ways of working. Deliver agreed work packages on time and to the required quality. Help prepare and facilitate project sessions, and record decisions and actions. Communicate professionally with stakeholders. Support project planning, progress tracking and documentation. Support process improvements and digital change initiatives by translating project needs into practical solutions. Ask for feedback, apply what you learn and contribute to the Consultancy Pool and wider SE&I community. Working environment You will join the Consultancy Pool within SE&I: ABN AMRO’s change force and a central foundation for executing complex change. SE&I consists of 5 Expertise consulting teams, Change Excellence, and the Consultancy Pool. Consultants are deployed flexibly across strategic and high-priority change assignments throughout the bank. We combine broad knowledge of ABN AMRO with strong execution skills, helping teams challenge ideas, accelerate progress and embed change that delivers measurable, lasting impact while reducing reliance on external consultancy. We help you become an all-round consultant through training, project coaching, feedback and collaboration with SE&I expertise teams. You will work in a safe, inclusive environment where you can grow and be yourself. Your home base is Amsterdam. Hybrid working is possible, depending on your assignment and team agreements. Your profile You are curious, analytical and eager to learn. You take initiative, communicate clearly and enjoy working with others. You welcome feedback and take responsibility for the quality of your work. You also bring: A university-level education or equivalent level of working and thinking. Up to two years of relevant work experience, including experience gained in an entry-level role, internship, traineeship or project environment. The ability to carry out analyses and summarise findings, with guidance when needed. Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, including tables, formulas and pivot tables. The ability to plan your own work and meet deadlines. Some experience supporting workshops or group sessions. Practical experience using approved generative AI tools to draft, summarise, structure information or explore ideas, while validating outputs and protecting sensitive data in line with ABN AMRO policies. Proactivity and a focus on problem solving. Professional proficiency in English; Dutch is a strong advantage. An interest in consultancy, project management and organisational change. Requirements

Applicants should have a university-level education or equivalent and up to two years of relevant experience, with the ability to analyse information, plan work, meet deadlines, and support workshops. They should have working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, practical experience with approved generative AI tools, professional English proficiency, and an interest in consultancy, project management, and organisational change; Dutch is an advantage.
