Over de functie As a Maintenance Technician at the textile warehouse in Lelystad, you play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of all warehouse and production equipment. Your daily tasks will involve hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, all within a busy warehouse and production environment. You'll work closely with both production and technical teams to support ongoing operations and minimize downtime. Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment Diagnose and resolve technical faults quickly to keep production moving Plan maintenance activities in coordination with production schedules Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently Report technical issues and maintenance work to relevant managers Collaborate with other team members to optimize processes You will work full-time, typically 38 to 40 hours per week. Shifts are generally during standard business hours, but occasional flexibility may be needed for urgent repairs or planned maintenance. Wat wij vragen At least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance, such as Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Technical Service Engineer Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical problems Experience with textile industry machinery is preferred Knowledge of equipment like industrial ironing tunnels (VEIT, Indupress, Macpi), packing machines (Polypack, Viapack), and conveyor lines is an advantage Basic English communication skills Proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and team-oriented mindset Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in technical subjects These points are very important in order to start working as a Maintenance Technician in Lelystad.
