Job Description
We’re looking for a Product Marketer to join the Contentoo team and turn everything we build into one clear story that Sales can confidently take to market.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced product marketer who is genuinely interested in AI and what it’s doing to marketing and content operations. You’ll own the product story across our platform, AI capabilities, human experts, and managed support, and make sure the way we explain it holds up in a real sales conversation.
You’ll report to our Content Lead and work closely with our VP GTM, Product, Sales, and Customer Success. You’ll sit in on product, pricing, roadmap, and release conversations, join customer calls, and brief our specialists across copy, design, and SEO when enablement needs to be made.
About Contentoo
Contentoo helps global marketing teams scale content without turning their marketers into project managers.
We combine AI agents, human expertise, and managed content operations to take more of the production and coordination burden off marketing teams, so they can spend more time on the work that actually needs their judgment.
What you’ll be doing
A big part of your role is giving Sales a sharp, defensible story built on what customers actually experience.
Positioning & Messaging
Own the development of our core product narrative and website messaging, defining clear propositions, use cases, and proof points.
Show how our software, AI tools, and managed services work together as a cohesive solution rather than disconnected features.
Ensure messaging across our website, pitch decks, and demos aligns without contradictions.
GTM Launches & Sales Enablement
Package new and existing capabilities around defined ICPs, customer problems, and commercial value.
Plan and coordinate launches across Product, Sales, Marketing, and CS—from readiness and evidence to external comms.
Build field-tested enablement materials (one-pagers, pitch decks, demo narratives, battle cards, and objection-handling guides) based on real sales conversations, not theory.
Customer & Market Intelligence
Join sales calls, discovery sessions, and CS check-ins to spot recurring objections, use cases, and buying triggers.
Gather competitive intelligence and market trends to inform product, pricing, and messaging decisions.
Push back constructively when internal assumptions don't match market reality.
Release Governance
Establish a lightweight release process that separates early experiments from market-ready features and approved external claims.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who talks about what they shipped, not what they planned. Someone structured, with good judgement and the confidence to tell us when something isn’t ready to sell.
You have 4–5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years directly in product marketing.
You have a proven track record of creating or repositioning propositions, launches, and sales enablement materials that teams can execute without a walkthrough—and the outcomes to show for it.
You take strong project ownership, synthesizing fragmented input and aligning Product, Sales, and Customer Success without formal authority or becoming a bottleneck.
You’re genuinely interested in AI and content operations, able to speak plainly about what it does well, its limits, and where humans still matter, without hype or excessive technical jargon.
You’re curious about customers and grounded, comfortable joining live sales calls to understand objections, and ready to push back constructively when claims lack evidence.
You have native or bilingual-level English, live in or near Amsterdam, and can work from our Houthavens office 3 days a week.
You also get bonus points for experience in B2B SaaS (especially hybrid platform/service models), AI-enabled tools, localisation, or agency workflows, or fluency in Dutch, German, French, or a Nordic language (nice to have, not essential).
Why you’ll like it here
You’ll shape how the market understands a hybrid AI agent and human expert proposition, not polish someone else’s collateral
You’ll have a seat in product, pricing, roadmap and release conversations, and bring the customer view into the decision
Your work gets tested in live deals every week
It’s highly visible: Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and leadership will use what you build
You’ll own the product story and website messaging, with specialists to help you execute
What you’ll get
A competitive salary based on experience
25 days of annual leave
Pension contribution
Laptop of choice (Mac or HP)
A monthly Alleo budget
A learning budget
Lunch at the office
Hybrid work environment (great office at the Houthavens, 3 days in office, 2 days home, plus remote flexibility)
A bar in the office. Who doesn’t want a bar in their office?!
A fun and International team, with regular drinks, boat days, and more
Sounds interesting?
Let’s have a virtual coffee to get to know each other! :)
Core Responsibilities
You will own the product narrative and website messaging while coordinating go-to-market launches across product, sales, and marketing teams. Additionally, you will gather customer and market intelligence to build effective sales enablement materials and refine product positioning.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of marketing experience, including 2-3 years specifically in product marketing, with a proven track record of successful launches. You must be based in or near Amsterdam and be comfortable working from the office three days per week.
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- 25 days of annual leave
- Pension contribution
- Laptop of choice
- Monthly Alleo budget
- Learning budget
