As Product Developer, you are the link between the design concept and the product a rider finally puts on. Does that sound like your role? Then we would like to meet you. What can you expect from us? Design, Performance, and Innovation guide everything we do at REV'IT!. That includes the way we develop our products. Every year, we launch two collections: Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Input from the market, our Product Designers, our ambassadors, and our riders comes together in that process. It helps us improve our products and anticipate the challenges motorcyclists face out on the road. As Product Developer, you take both the technical and the coordinating lead in that process for the products you are responsible for. You work closely with our Product Designers, and with colleagues from Research & Innovation, Material Development, Compliance, our in-house laboratory, and Supply Chain. Together, you make sure a concept becomes a product that is right in quality, fit, and price, and that it is made in a responsible way. You immerse yourself in the smallest details. But between the deadlines, you also keep an eye on the long term, because at REV'IT! we work on our goals together and we never stand still. What does this mean in practice? You are responsible for the technical development of products from concept to production. That means close contact with product design, with suppliers, and with the teams that test and certify our products. Your job will include: Taking care of the technical end-to-end development of products designed by our Product Designers, in close collaboration with them. Translating design concepts into products that are feasible in quality, fit, and price. Developing and assessing prototypes and production samples together with our suppliers. Monitoring fit, sizing, construction, and performance in line with REV'IT! standards. Managing product documentation such as BOMs and tech packs, including the findings from each sample round. Ensuring that our products comply with our quality standards and CE regulations. Monitoring the progress of the development process and keeping track of deadlines. Visiting our suppliers' factories in Asia for meetings and inspections. Supporting material development, from exploring new materials to assessing their performance and durability. Following developments in materials, techniques, and textile innovation, and applying them to your work. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, 32 hours negotiable). You will report to the Product Development Manager. You will work from our office in Oss, the Netherlands, as this role cannot be done remotely. Are you our ideal candidate? You are a Product Developer with a sharp eye for constructions, materials, and details. You enjoy turning creative ideas into products that work, and you like to do that as part of a team. Knowledge of motorcycle apparel is not a must. We expect: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in fashion, product development, or a related field. Work experience as a Product Developer; experience in technical apparel is a strong advantage. Technical knowledge of constructions, materials, and development processes. Familiarity with product processes and quality standards. A genuine interest in materials and new techniques. A structured, analytical mindset that keeps the long term in view without losing sight of the details. Familiarity with PLM systems and Microsoft Office. Evaluate prototypes and samples, maintain product documentation, ensure compliance with quality standards and CE regulations, track deadlines, visit supplier factories, and contribute to material development.
Requirements
A bachelor's or master's degree in fashion, product development, or a related field is expected, along with experience as a Product Developer; technical apparel experience is an advantage. Candidates should have technical knowledge of materials, construction, development processes, and quality standards, plus familiarity with PLM systems and Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, fluency in English, and a structured, analytical approach.
