(OEE-EMEA) Design & AI Content Creation Intern
Key Skills
Job Description
Job description: About the team Omron Industrial Automation Europe supplies machine builders and manufacturers across Europe. Our Digital Marketing and MarCom department runs content, campaigns, social, and demand generation for the EMEA region. We want to build a video production factory powered by AI, and we need an intern to build it. The assignment You will set up a process that turns our marketing content into YouTube Shorts, TikToks, and longer explainer and product videos with AI (we use Claude internally), mostly automated and ready to publish. Nobody on our team has done this before, so there is no playbook and no expert down the hall. You find the tools, dig through GitHub for the right repositories, test what works, and document the result. We give you access to our marketing content, our product knowledge, and people who will gladly react to your ideas, but the discovery is yours. The job has two halves. One is building: combining AI tools, open-source projects, and automation workflows into a pipeline the team can keep running after you leave. The other is research: figuring out why some videos on YouTube and TikTok hold attention and others don't. You will look at hooks, structure, pacing, thumbnails, titles, and topics, and turn what you learn into templates for our own videos. The research shapes what the pipeline produces, and the videos it produces show whether the research was right. You report on what worked and what didn't. Main responsibilities Research: research what formats currently work in our market. AI video creation: explore and use AI tools to generate videos for marketing and communications. AI visual design: create engaging visuals using generative AI and design tools. AI avatar development: experiment with creating digital avatars for communication and marketing materials. Content optimisation: improve AI-generated content to ensure quality, consistency and brand alignment. Creative experimentation: research emerging AI creative technologies and test their applications. Reporting: report on your results and the results of the designs and videos created. Who you are You like trying new AI tools, have experience with Claude Code or Codex. You're not scared of reading documentation, and you are happy to spend an evening in a GitHub repo. You can set up your own experiments, expect many of them to fail, and keep going anyway. You watch a lot of YouTube and TikTok and can usually say why a video kept you watching. You can explain your findings to colleagues who are not technical, and your English is good. Video editing, scripting, or some Python or automation experience helps, but we care more about curiosity and independence than about your toolset. A strong interest in generative AI (Claude or ChatGPT), video production and visual storytelling. A student in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia design, digital media or a related field. A basic understanding of marketing and communications. Creative, curious and willing to experiment with new technologies. What we offer A project that is yours, with results people can see. Freedom to experiment, real marketing content to work with, and a working pipeline you can show in your next interview. Duration: 6 months, starting as soon as possible. How to apply Skip the cover letter. Send your CV and a short video or a link to something you built with AI tools.

Requirements
The candidate should be a student in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia design, digital media, or a related field, with a strong interest in generative AI, video production, and visual storytelling.
