About Asus Emmen Asus in Emmen is the service headquarters for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). From this location we manage the quality and progress of our service partners and contact center partners. Furthermore, we manage a big warehouse, ship computer parts to all our service partners, repair and test Asus products and we have the contact center for customers in Benelux. With more than 140 employees, the head office in Taiwan and more than 25 nationalities working in Emmen, we offer a very dynamic and international working environment. About the position We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) or Data Scientist Intern to join our IT team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data and strategic business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, such as our regional customer relationship managers (RCRM) to gather business requirements, translate them into actionable metrics, and design clear, visually engaging KPI dashboards that drive data-informed decisions across the organization. This is a bachelor/master thesis internship for a minimum of 5 months, a minimum of 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2027. To be suitable for the internship, you: Are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Management, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field; Have experience with dashboard development and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel (including Macros/VBA), SQL server management or similar data visualization tools; Basic scripting or automation skills in Python or Power Automate is a plus; Communicate effectively in English and can explain insights to different audiences; Are proactive, structured, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with stakeholders. Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in data science, business analytics, information management, artificial intelligence, computer science, or a related field, and have experience with dashboard development and data visualization tools. Effective English communication, initiative, organization, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are required; Python or Power Automate skills are a plus.
