About Fantastic.jobs Fantastic.jobs is a job-data API. Every month we collect, deduplicate and enrich more than 10 million job postings directly from employer career sites and applicant tracking systems (ATSs). We deliver them through a single API to companies building job boards, AI job-search products, HR tech and labour-market analytics. ⁠⁠ Our goal is to be the number 1 job-data provider, and we are hiring the team to get there. The role You will work under our CTO and help own the systems that collect and maintain our job data. You’ll add new ATS integrations, debug existing crawlers and improve the reliability of the pipeline. This is a hands-on role: you’ll investigate how platforms expose their data, write and maintain scrapers, and make sure the jobs we deliver are accurate and up to date. What you will do Research new ATS platforms and build integrations to discover career sites and collect job postings. Maintain and debug existing crawlers, scheduled jobs and data pipelines. Build and improve checks that detect expired or changed jobs. Monitor coverage, freshness and data quality, and investigate failures. Improve testing, alerting and deployment so we can add sources faster without sacrificing accuracy. ⁠⁠ Help develop a system leveraging agentic AI to automate most of this process What we are looking for Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript, SQL and backend systems. Experience with web scraping, HTTP APIs and changing or unreliable data sources. Comfort debugging production systems, reading logs and working with Linux and scheduled jobs. A practical, independent approach and attention to data quality. Good written English and clear communication. Nice to have Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, Redis or proxy infrastructure. Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Familiarity with job data, recruitment platforms or ATSs. What we offer €4,000 to €6,000 gross per month for a salaried position, depending on experience, or a contract-based arrangement. A remote-first role, working within Europe. Requirements

Candidates should have strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript, SQL, and backend systems, along with experience in web scraping and working with unreliable data sources. They should be comfortable debugging production systems using logs, Linux, and scheduled jobs, and bring independence, attention to data quality, and clear written English communication.
