Job Description
About uButler uButler is a 24/7 service that helps international employees quickly find their way in the Netherlands. At uButler, people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe a supportive, open and collaborative culture is essential for both our employees and the internationals we help every day. Our team is international, informal and driven, with a strong focus on ownership and continuous improvement. We value clear communication, mutual respect and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable contributing ideas and helping shape the way we work. Your mission As a uButler Relocation Coordinator, your mission is to make every local hire feel at home in the Netherlands, from the moment they say yes to their new job until they’re fully settled. You turn a stressful, complex move into a clear, personal, and even exciting journey. Each relocation you guide is a life changing in a big way, and it’s your job to make sure no one feels lost along the way: every question answered, every step planned, and every challenge met with calm and care. When your users look back on their first months here, we want them to remember you as the person who made it all possible. What you will do Are you emotionally intelligent, resilient, highly organised, and do you genuinely love helping people? Become our Relocation Coordinator and guide international local hires from large organisations through their first months in the Netherlands! As our Relocation Coordinator, you own the full relocation journey of our users: from onboarding, through every step of their move, to off-boarding. Our users are local hires from large organisations who are moving to a new country and starting their lives here. Through video calls and personal relocation roadmaps, you’ll be the face of the company for them. You make sure they understand exactly how our service works, feel excited and supported, and stay active throughout their service period. Moving abroad is one of the biggest and most emotional steps in someone’s life. You’ll sense when a user is stressed, overwhelmed, or uncertain, and know how to respond with empathy and clarity. Not every relocation goes as planned: housing falls through, paperwork gets delayed, and users can feel frustrated. You stay calm, positive, and solution-focused when things get tough, and you bounce back quickly. At the same time, you’ll be juggling many clients at different stages of their relocation, so you keep a sharp overview of every timeline, task, and follow-up. You’ll be the link between the local hires and our International Mobility Agents, making sure the whole process runs smoothly. The result: an unforgettable, warm welcome to their new home country! What you’ll be doing You are the (digital) face-to-face contact point for local hires and independently guide them through every stage of their relocation; You analyse each local hire’s situation and create a tailored, personal relocation plan; You manage a large portfolio of clients at the same time, keeping track of their progress, deadlines, and open tasks; You schedule and lead video calls with new users to onboard them and manage their journey; You support users through the emotional ups and downs of moving abroad, reading between the lines to understand what they really need; You handle unexpected setbacks and challenging situations with calm, finding solutions and keeping users reassured; You analyse the results of their journeys and drive improvements to our service and processes; You build and maintain excellent relationships with local hires from countries all over the world. What we are looking for You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences; You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in relocation, global mobility, client success, account management, or a similar people-focused role; You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; You have high emotional intelligence: you easily empathise with others, pick up on unspoken concerns, and adapt your approach to each person; You are resilient: you stay calm and constructive under pressure, handle setbacks and frustrated clients with composure, and keep going when things don’t go to plan; You love helping people and get real energy from making someone’s life easier; You are exceptionally organised and can manage many clients and tasks at once without losing track of the details; You’re a star at listening and thinking along, and you feel confident explaining, guiding, and taking the lead; You work independently and take ownership, while being a real team player; You have a valid work permit for the Netherlands; You live in or near Amsterdam. What we offer A challenging position with real responsibility, building and maintaining professional relationships; A unique working experience in a growing Dutch start-up A monthly salary of €2,700 gross (based on a 40-hour week), plus 8% holiday allowance; Great secondary benefits, like a Swapfiets subscription; Lots of fun sports, activities, and drinks with your coworkers; A beautiful office in the heart of Amsterdam.
