As a service employee during breakfast and lunch, you’re at your best in the early hours. You’re a true morning person, love starting the day fresh and get energized by a restaurant slowly coming to life. You make sure our guests get their day off to a great start with a warm welcome, a good cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast. With your enthusiasm, eye for detail and genuine hospitality, you make every visit a pleasant experience. During breakfast, you combine buffet service with table service. At lunchtime, the focus is entirely on table service. You welcome guests, take orders and make sure they have everything they need. You enjoy being hands-on, have an eye for detail and use your friendly personality to make every visit that little bit more special. Our menu offers plenty of delicious options to start the day or enjoy a relaxed lunch. Think an extensive breakfast buffet, generous pancakes, refined eggs Benedict, great coffee and fresh, flavourful salads. You present our dishes with enthusiasm and are always happy to help guests choose. Whether someone comes in for a leisurely breakfast or a relaxed lunch, you make sure they enjoy a personal and welcoming experience. Our restaurant on Fizeaustraat is located in a lively neighbourhood in Amsterdam East, where locals, hotel guests and tourists love to come together. It’s a welcoming place where the day gets off to a relaxed start and lunchtime brings a little extra buzz. Together with your colleagues, you create a warm and laid-back atmosphere where guests immediately feel at home. And the best part? You’ll mainly work during the day, leaving your evenings free! About you: You are looking for a fun part-time job and are flexible, including weekends; Strong focus on communication and hospitality; Enjoys working in a dynamic hospitality environment; Fluent in either Dutch or English. Do you speak both? That is a nice plus; A true love for good food; Preferably you live in (or around) Amsterdam. Join the Fun & Perks: We offer a suitable salary according to the collective labour agreement for hospitality in reference scale 3; Travel allowance based on the distance between home and work (min. 15 km); Enjoy a delicious meal during your shift for €4,05 per meal;

Core Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service during breakfast and lunch, combining buffet and table service at breakfast with table service at lunch. Take orders, assist guests with menu choices, present food enthusiastically, and work with colleagues to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Applicants should be flexible, including availability on weekends, and have strong communication and hospitality skills, an interest in working in a dynamic hospitality environment, and a genuine love of good food. Fluency in either Dutch or English is required; speaking both is an advantage, and living in or near Amsterdam is preferred.
