We’re looking for a Production Line Manager who brings both the openness and team spirit of a company and the discipline to run a safe, reliable production line. Reports to: Production Project Manager Direct reports: Production line operators Key interfaces: Production Project Manager, QHSE Manager, General Manager Your role You own the safety and performance of the production line. You are responsible for its safe, efficient, and reliable operation, working closely with the Production Project Manager, production operators, and other site functions. Key responsibilities Production management: manage the production workflow from battery discharging through to foil production. Monitor the line against daily and weekly targets, maintain the required yield, report KPIs, and escalate deviations or equipment issues in time. Operational standards, 5S and visual management: make sure production, safety and 5S instructions are displayed, understood and followed. Keep the work area clean and organised and manage production waste safely. Maintenance and equipment reliability: provide the information needed for preventive maintenance. Coordinate planned shutdowns and build LOTO requirements into maintenance planning. Leading production operators: coordinate daily activities, workload, availability and staffing levels, and make sure procedures and safety requirements are understood and applied. Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): ensure LOTO is applied before any maintenance or servicing, only by trained and authorised employees. Verify safety measures before equipment is started, stopped or returned to service. Shift handover: ensure deviations, equipment issues, safety matters and open actions are documented and passed on before every handover. EHS and site safety: promote a strong safety culture, report unsafe conditions and lead by example. Continuous improvement: identify opportunities to improve productivity, yield and equipment availability, and contribute to root-cause analysis of recurring issues. Stop-work authority: you have explicit authority to stop work or production in case of an imminent serious EHS, technical or quality risk.
