Your role in our shared journey Based at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you will join the SportStyle Product team as SMU Product Line Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working at the heart of our Special Make Up (SMU) creation process, you will keep the product calendar on track, ensure accurate product data across our systems and tools, and coordinate samples, all while collaborating daily with Design, Development, Merchandising, Sales and some of ASICS’s biggest European key accounts. This is a broad coordination role with real product exposure. You will be involved in the full creation journey; from briefing through development to review and feedback with retail partners like JD Sports and Zalando, and you will be among the first to see the product when it arrives. The role is fast-paced and varied, with a mix of creative and operational tasks. Your Key Responsibilities Will Be SMU Process Coordination - support the SportStyle Product Management team across all SMU milestones; ensure timely execution and alignment across the product creation calendar. Cross-Functional Collaboration - work closely with Design, Development and Merchandising to ensure the SMU collection reflects market needs and is commercially relevant; keep all stakeholders informed and on track. Product Data & Linelist Management - maintain accurate SMU product information across PLM systems, linelists and sell-in tools; own data quality and ensure updates are reflected consistently across all documents. Sample Management - proactively coordinate the distribution, collection and return of SMU samples; communicate key sample and deadline updates to Key Account managers, Sales, Design and Development. Key Account Brief Support - support the PM team in preparing SMU briefs and presenting materials for ASICS’s major European accounts; assist with deck preparation for workshops and showroom visits. Market & Trend Research - prepare market and competitor research to track trends and consumer insights relevant to the SportStyle SMU range. You Have The Following Skills And Experience 1-2 years’ experience in product coordination, product management or a closely related role within a fashion or sports brand. Strong project management and organisational skills - able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and reliably hit tight deadlines. Clear and proactive communicator in English - confident working across design, development, commercial and sales functions. Proficient in Microsoft Excel - accurate data entry, linelist maintenance and tab management. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint - able to build and populate slides and support deck preparation for key account meetings. Hands-on and positive about all parts of the role - including sample logistics, data management and admin; a can-do mindset is essential. Core Responsibilities

Coordinate the SportStyle SMU product creation process, keeping milestones, product data, linelists, samples, and stakeholder communications accurate and on schedule. Support key account briefs and presentations, and conduct market and competitor research to inform the collection.

Requirements

The role requires 1–2 years of experience in product coordination, product management, or a related role in fashion or sports, along with strong organisation, project management, communication, and deadline-management skills. Candidates should be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable with product data, sample logistics, and administrative tasks; PLM or sample coordination experience is a plus.
