Event Management Intern
Key Skills
Job Description
At Relevance®, we believe in radically personal learning at scale. We help organizations worldwide keep their people relevant in a fast-changing world, with leadership programs, talent development and personal development. With more than 900 facilitators and coaches, we reach over 50,000 participants every year. Our marketing team is building a regular program of events for executives, HR and L&D professionals and the public sector, in the Netherlands and the DACH region. Think roundtables, webinars and knowledge sessions, partly together with Schouten & Nelissen. To organize them, we are looking for an Event Management Intern to join the team at our headquarters in Zaltbommel. What you will do As Event Management Intern, you are part of the marketing team. You help set up and run the events program, together with consultants, sales and colleagues from Schouten & Nelissen. You get real responsibility: you organize events from start to finish. Help build the event calendar and keep track of the planning for each event. Arrange the practical side: venue, catering, speakers, materials and run sheet. Set up invitations and registrations in HubSpot and manage the attendee lists. Promote the events via LinkedIn, email and our website, as part of our marketing campaigns. Attend the events and make sure everything runs smoothly. Handle the follow-up: thank-you emails, sharing presentations and passing interesting contacts on to sales. Measure the results, such as attendance, ratings and follow-up conversations, and suggest ways to improve the program. Help prepare our presence at external conferences and summits. What you bring You study event management, marketing, communication, hospitality or a related field at a university of applied sciences (hbo). You are looking for a work placement or graduation internship of at least 5 months, 4 to 5 days a week. You are well organized, see the big picture and have an eye for detail. You communicate easily in Dutch and English. German is a plus. You are comfortable with MS Office and enjoy working with social media and online tools. You are flexible and happy to be on location or at an evening event now and then. What we offer An internship where you organize events yourself, from idea to evaluation. A dedicated internship supervisor in the marketing team. Hands-on marketing experience: campaigns, email, LinkedIn and HubSpot. An international work environment with colleagues in the Netherlands and Germany. Room for your own ideas and for your internship or graduation assignment. Why Relevance? At Relevance, you work in an international context while learning stays personal and human. You see up close how a good event leads to new relationships and conversations. That way, you contribute to the growth of Relevance and to your own development. Interested? Apply via LinkedIn with your CV and a short motivation. Please also mention your study program, your preferred internship period and the number of days per week. We are looking for someone who can start in February 2027, or by agreement. We do not accept unsolicited proposals from recruitment agencies for this vacancy.
Core Responsibilities
