You: Get to the heart of complex challenges and work with colleagues to translate them into clear requirements and well-founded technical decisions. Design and build cloud-native solutions using TypeScript and AWS, from initial design through to production. Apply principles such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architecture when they add value to the solution. Ensure software quality through effective system design, CI/CD, automated testing and automated deployments. Identify opportunities to improve our technology and ways of working, and take the initiative to turn them into results. Coach other engineers, share your knowledge and contribute to engineering excellence. AI is a standard part of your technical toolkit. You use tools such as GitHub Copilot and GitLab Duo to develop software more effectively and efficiently, including when writing and reviewing code. At the same time, you remain critical of AI-generated output. You understand the code you work with, assess it against our quality and security standards and remain accountable for the end result. You are an experienced Software Engineer who can work independently on complex software and look beyond the implementation of individual features. You bring: Extensive professional experience with TypeScript Proven experience with AWS and serverless development Experience independently designing and building complex software solutions Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, SQL and relational databases Experience sharing technical knowledge and supporting the development of other engineers We value the energy and expertise you bring to the continued development of our digital services. Core Responsibilities

Design and build cloud-native software solutions using TypeScript and AWS, taking ownership from initial design through production while applying suitable architectural practices and ensuring quality through CI/CD, automated testing, and deployments. Work with stakeholders and engineers to clarify complex requirements, improve technology and processes, and coach colleagues while using AI tools responsibly.

Requirements

The role requires extensive professional TypeScript experience, proven AWS and serverless development experience, and the ability to independently design and build complex software solutions. Candidates should also have experience with CI/CD, automated testing, SQL, relational databases, and sharing technical knowledge to support other engineers.
