Wat ga je doen?
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het optimaal functioneren, het bijvullen en het bedienen van onze moderne productiemachines, op de afdeling Processing (deegbereiding). Ook het opbouwen van de machines en vervolgens proefdraaien voorafgaand aan de productie behoort tot jouw werkzaamheden. Daarnaast zorg je voor een juiste toevoer van ingrediënten, welke deels geautomatiseerd worden getransporteerd door de fabriek. Tevens voer je kwaliteitscontroles uit, volgens de HACCP-regels, op het gemaakte product. Over jouw werkzaamheden heb je voornamelijk contact met de procesoperator of SAPO.
Je hebt een sterke focus op efficiëntie. Door het instellen, controleren, ombouwen en continue bijstellen van de machines zorg je als Machine Operator Food voor het optimale resultaat binnen de strenge kwaliteitsnormen van onze producten. Met jouw technisch inzicht signaleer je (aanstaande) problemen en zorg je samen met de TD voor de juiste oplossing. Als Machine Operator Food neem je graag verantwoordelijkheid en zorg je voor optimaal onderhoud aan jouw machine.

Wat neem jij mee?
▪️ Technisch inzicht en een verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel;
▪️ Ervaring in een productieomgeving (food is een pré);
▪️ Bekend met HACCP, veiligheid en hygiëne;
▪️ Teamspeler die nauwkeurig en gestructureerd werkt;
▪️ Een technische opleiding op mbo-niveau is een plus, maar geen vereiste.
The New Plant
Bij The New Plant produceren we de plantaardige vleesproducten van Beyond Meat voor klanten in Europa, het Midden-Oosten en een deel van Afrika. Beyond Meat heeft sinds 2021 onder andere een samenwerking met McDonalds en levert de plant based burger voor de McPlant.
Core Responsibilities
Operate, replenish, set up, test, and adjust production machines in the dough-preparation department, ensuring ingredients are supplied correctly and production runs efficiently. Perform HACCP-based product quality checks, maintain the assigned machine, and work with the process operator and technical department to resolve potential issues.
Requirements
Candidates should have technical aptitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and experience in a production environment; food production experience is an advantage. Familiarity with HACCP, safety, and hygiene is expected, while an MBO-level technical education is a plus but not required.

We source chilled and frozen meat from the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.
