The Job

Still with us? Great! Here's what a typical morning at The 51 looks like.

Your day starts bright and early at 6:30 AM. First things first: a good cup of coffee and a quick catch-up with your colleagues. Then it's time to get things going!

You'll take charge of the breakfast buffet, making sure everything looks fresh, inviting and fully stocked throughout the morning. You'll welcome our hotel guests, keep the coffee flowing and make sure everyone gets a great start to their day. And it's not just our guests who get their caffeine fix you'll also make delicious coffees for your colleagues at the Head Office.

Throughout your shift, you'll work closely with the kitchen team, keep an eye on the breakfast service and make sure everything runs smoothly. Once breakfast is over, you'll help tidy up and get everything ready for the rest of the day.

But it's not just about breakfast and coffee. You'll get to know our guests, have a chat with familiar faces and share your favourite tips about the city. Whether it's recommending a great restaurant, a must-visit food festival or a cool place to explore, your personality and genuine interest help make guests feel right at home.

At around 3:00 PM, your shift comes to an end. You've helped our guests start their day with a smile, made sure your colleagues are well caffeinated and set the team up for a great day ahead. Time to clock out and enjoy the rest of your day!

What are we looking for?

For our team, we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic allround hospitality professional, who loves to entertain guests! Our ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request. Experience as a waiter is not necessary, just the will to learn and of course a friendly smile. We are able to teach you all the ins and outs of hospitality. Be prepared for a good time!

As an All-Round F&B Employee for the morning shifts at The 51, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with events, and contributing to the kitchen operations.
