Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior/Lead Product Manager based in Netherlands.

This is an opportunity to lead hands-on product execution for a major European automotive marketplace serving millions of users across multiple countries. You will join an E-commerce team focused on website and digital retail experiences, helping translate complex business and customer needs into clear product requirements and actionable delivery plans. Working closely with engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders, you will keep initiatives moving efficiently from discovery and prioritization through development and launch. The role calls for an execution-oriented product professional who can navigate ambiguity, make practical decisions, and maintain alignment across multidisciplinary teams. You will contribute to improving customer-facing digital journeys in a fast-paced, international environment. Candidates must be able to align with Toronto Eastern Time working hours, with daily overlap until at least 4:00 PM ET.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive day-to-day product execution for initiatives across the Unified Web and Digital Retail product area.

  • Gather, clarify, document, and validate business, customer, and technical requirements.

  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and delivery-ready documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product delivery lifecycle.

  • Manage and maintain the product backlog, support prioritization, and ensure requirements are clearly defined before development begins.

  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions, resolve requirement gaps, and communicate decisions, dependencies, risks, and progress.

  • Support agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, product demos, testing, and release readiness.

  • Coordinate post-launch follow-up to assess outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Use customer feedback, product analytics, and business context to guide product decisions and balance competing priorities.

  • Maintain alignment between business objectives, customer expectations, and technical delivery constraints.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including hands-on responsibility for product delivery and requirements gathering.

  • Previous experience in Product roles at a minimum of two different companies or organizations.

  • Experience working on e-commerce products, consumer-facing websites, or other digital customer experiences.

  • Strong track record of partnering directly with software engineering teams in an Agile environment.

  • Ability to turn ambiguous business and customer needs into structured requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable delivery plans.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating technical, operational, and business teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain delivery momentum in a fast-moving environment.

  • Availability to work in alignment with Toronto Eastern Time, or to maintain a shifted schedule with daily overlap until at least 4:00 PM ET.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in automotive, automotive retail, digital retailing, or dealer technology.

  • Familiarity with website platforms, e-commerce conversion optimization, lead generation, and online purchasing journeys.

  • Knowledge of product analytics, experimentation, content management systems, and modern product management tools.

  • Experience working in complex platform environments involving multiple stakeholders, integrations, or dependent delivery teams.

Benefits:

  • Flexible working arrangements, including remote, office-based, or hybrid options, depending on location.

  • Competitive salary and compensation package.

  • Personalized career development and growth opportunities.

  • Professional development resources, including mentorship, technical talks, training, and centers of excellence.

  • Active technology communities and regular knowledge-sharing opportunities.

  • Education reimbursement.

  • Anniversary gifts and recognition.

  • Corporate events and team-building activities.

  • Additional benefits depending on the employee's location.
