HERE WeGo brings HERE’s world-class location technology directly to consumers through a globally used navigation and mapping experience across mobile and web. As the team behind HERE’s flagship consumer product, we transform cutting-edge mapping, routing, and mobility capabilities into intuitive experiences that help millions of users navigate and explore the world every day.

We are an empowered, cross-functional team with end-to-end ownership of the product, from innovation and strategy to delivery and operation. As the leader of the engineering function, you will help us:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing full-stack engineering organization for mobile apps, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence
• Partner closely with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders to define, align, and execute the product and technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for the WeGo products for mobile and web
• Drive the evolution of large-scale consumer mobile and web applications, ensuring world-class user experiences, scalable architecture, operational excellence, and long-term technology sustainability
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent while ensuring teams have the skills, resources, processes, and tools required to deliver business outcomes effectively
• Champion engineering best practices, innovation, and technical excellence, contributing to and influencing the broader engineering community across HERE Technologies
• Lead the organization's adoption of AI-enabled engineering and product development practices, empowering teams to leverage emerging technologies responsibly to accelerate innovation, productivity, and customer value.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive software engineering experience, with significant experience leading and scaling engineering teams.A track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining effective engineering teams.Experience delivering high-quality consumer-facing mobile and web products at scale.Experience working effectively across Product Management, Engineering, Security, Operations, Finance, and other organizational functions.A strong technical foundation that enables you to guide architectural decisions, foster engineering excellence, and balance innovation with operational reliability.
• Passion for emerging technologies and a strong understanding of how AI can transform both software development and customer experiences
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
