This Is What Your Role Looks Like 

As Interim Manager Billing & Collections, you’ll take our Invoice to Cash team to the next level through digitalization and innovation. You’re responsible for both B2C and B2B. On the B2C side, you balance collections and customer retention for more than 5 million members across Europe, taking ownership of a crucial part of the member journey with the latest technologies and ways of working. On the B2B side, you handle billing and collections for our franchise partners, personal trainers, media partners and other secondary revenue streams. 

You’ll lead a team of 6 professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of direct debits and dunning, analyzing and forecasting cash flows, and managing our collection partners. You’ll also help shape our long-term payment and collections strategy. As the link between management and other departments, you’ll help us deliver a low-cost, high-value experience to our members. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Lead, develop and grow the Invoice to Cash team (6 FTE). 

• Help guide our payments and collections strategy, with a focus on scalability. 

• Analyze and report on the success of the debtor journeys and the performance of our external collection agencies. 

• Manage our outsourcing partners, collection partners and payment service providers to ensure the right service levels and keep improving results. 

• Align with internal stakeholders to streamline our B2B billing and collections processes, improve DSO and reduce the cost of collections. 

• Optimize the B2C debtor journeys through A/B testing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and contribute to the development of our global customer experience strategy. 

Who Are You? 

You are a data-driven systems thinker with a bias for action, who can zoom out and see the bigger picture. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, you’re result-oriented, and you can hit the ground running from day one. 

Additionally, we’re looking for someone with: 

• Proven experience in an international customer-facing or finance management role, preferably in a credit management environment; 

• Affinity with new technologies for customer interactions; 

• A strong vision on customer service strategy in a multilingual setting; 

• Excellent knowledge of working with an outsourced model; 

• Fluent English, with a preference for a second language: Dutch, French, Spanish or German; 

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; 

• Availability to start as soon as possible.
