Job Description

About Invisix

Semiconductor manufacturers can't build what they can't measure. Invisix Measuring Systems is a fast-growing scale-up in the high-tech industry, developing next-generation metrology solutions for the semiconductor sector. We work at the intersection of optics, software, and data.

We're a small team, but the depth of knowledge inside Invisix is anything but small. Our culture is professional and fast-paced, with short communication lines and a strong sense of shared purpose. Everyone here is committed, and everyone knows their work directly contributes to something bigger.

The Role

We're looking for an HR Officer to make sure HR at Invisix runs smoothly every day: employment contracts, payroll input, relocation of international hires, sickness absence and our HR policies amongst others.

Reporting to our COO, you keep our HR administration accurate and our processes running as we grow quickly. Once our recruiter has agreed an offer with a candidate, you take over: you prepare the contract, arrange relocation where needed and get everything ready for their first day. You're also the first point of contact for colleagues and managers on HR questions, and you keep our HR policies and processes up to date as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare employment contracts and amendments once an offer is agreed, and keep personnel files and our HR system accurate and complete, in line with Dutch employment law and GDPR

  • Prepare the monthly payroll input with our payroll provider, and administer pensions, benefits, expenses and our Employee Share Ownership Plan

  • Arrange relocation for each international hire with our relocation and immigration partners, from highly skilled migrant applications with the IND and the 30% ruling to municipal registration and housing, and maintain our status as a recognized sponsor with the IND

  • Run onboarding and offboarding, from preparing a new colleague's first day to exit administration, and improve our onboarding program so every new colleague gets a good start

  • Keep track of absence registration, leave balances and contract end dates, and make sure every HR deadline is met

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR questions, and manage sickness absence cases with our occupational health service in line with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter)

  • Keep our HR policies and employee handbook up to date, such as leave, hybrid working, expenses and sickness absence, and take on adjacent responsibilities as the company grows, such as HR reporting or performance reviews

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's degree (HBO) in HR, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 3 to 5 years of experience as an HR officer or HR advisor, ideally in a growing or international company

  • Accurate, organized and discreet, with a hands-on way of working, the habit of keeping things running without being asked, and the confidence to be the go-to person for colleagues' HR questions

  • Solid working knowledge of Dutch employment law, sickness absence rules, payroll and pension administration

  • Hands-on experience relocating international hires, including highly skilled migrant applications with the IND and the 30% ruling

  • Fluent Dutch and English

  • Active use of AI tooling in your daily work (drafting documents, HR administration, checklists, reporting) to boost efficiency

Nice to have

  • Experience working with an external payroll provider

  • Experience with employee share plans

  • Experience in a high-tech, engineering or R&D environment

What We Offer

  • A role at the heart of how Invisix runs every day, with real ownership of our HR operations from day one

  • Competitive salary and benefits, including an Employee Share Ownership Plan

  • A learning and development budget to support your growth

  • Flexible working arrangements, and room to grow into adjacent responsibilities as the team scales

If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd like to hear from you, even if you only recognize yourself in part of this description. Submit your resume, and let's find out together if there's a match.

We're committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, where ideas and individuals flourish. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and judge candidates on merit and potential contribution, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, or other identity characteristics. What we're looking for is talent with integrity, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to make an impact.

About Invisix

Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing

Company size: 11-50 employees

Semiconductor manufacturers can’t build what they can’t see. As chips shrink and become 3D, traditional metrology using visible light hits its limits. At Invisix, we shrink the wavelength of the illumination to extend Moore’s law.
