Ben jij een ervaren NDO Inspecteur of Lasinspecteur en zoek je een functie met veel zelfstandigheid, afwisseling en verantwoordelijkheid? Bij SGS Industrial werk je op uiteenlopende industriële locaties en zorg je ervoor dat lasverbindingen, constructies en technische installaties voldoen aan de gestelde kwaliteits- en veiligheidseisen.
Je werkt voor opdrachtgevers binnen onder andere de petrochemie, offshore, constructiebouw, leidingbouw, opslagterminals en industrie. Geen dag en geen locatie is hetzelfde.
Functieomschrijving
Als ervaren NDO Inspecteur / Lasinspecteur voer je zelfstandig inspecties en niet-destructief onderzoek uit. Afhankelijk van jouw certificeringen en ervaring werk je met verschillende onderzoekstechnieken, zoals:
- ultrasoon onderzoek;
- magnetisch onderzoek;
- penetrant onderzoek;
- radiografisch onderzoek.
Je beoordeelt de kwaliteit van materialen en lasverbindingen, signaleert afwijkingen en legt je bevindingen zorgvuldig vast.
Daarnaast:
- voer je zelfstandig NDO-inspecties uit op locatie;
- beoordeel en interpreteer je onderzoeksresultaten;
- stel je duidelijke inspectierapportages op;
- bespreek je jouw bevindingen met de klant;
- werk je volgens geldende veiligheids- en kwaliteitsvoorschriften;
- ben je het aanspreekpunt op locatie voor jouw werkzaamheden;
- werk je samen met collega's aan grotere of complexere inspectieopdrachten.
Met jouw ervaring weet je hoe belangrijk nauwkeurigheid en veiligheid zijn. Je kunt zelfstandig werken, maar zoekt ook de samenwerking op wanneer dat nodig is.
Functie-eisen
Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die al ervaring heeft binnen NDO, lasinspectie of een vergelijkbare technische inspectieomgeving.
Je beschikt bij voorkeur over:
- mbo-werk- en denkniveau in een technische richting;
- relevante werkervaring binnen NDO en/of lasinspectie;
- één of meerdere relevante NDO-certificaten;
- een geldig VCA-certificaat of de bereidheid dit te behalen;
- rijbewijs B;
- goede communicatieve vaardigheden;
- een zelfstandige en nauwkeurige manier van werken.
Je bent daarnaast flexibel als het gaat om werktijden. Inspectiewerk laat zich niet altijd plannen tussen 08.00 en 17.00 uur en werkzaamheden kunnen plaatsvinden tijdens bijvoorbeeld onderhoudsstops.

Core Responsibilities
Independently conduct non-destructive testing and welding inspections at industrial sites using techniques appropriate to your certifications, assess materials and weld quality, and identify deviations. Interpret and document results, discuss findings with clients, follow safety and quality requirements, and collaborate with colleagues on complex assignments.
Requirements
Candidates should have experience in non-destructive testing, welding inspection, or a comparable technical inspection environment, preferably with a technical vocational education and one or more relevant NDT certificates. A valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one, a category B driving license, good communication skills, accuracy, independence, and flexibility with working hours are preferred.
