While Hotel V is known for its stylish, characterful, and authentically Amsterdam vibe. Within Conscious Group, all locations work together as one team, driven by our FOCAL values: Fun, Open, Connect, Ambition, and Love. And now, Conscious Group is looking for a System Administrator! As our new System Administrator you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our hotel systems run smoothly every day — from property management systems to our networks, POS terminals, and guest technology. You’ll work closely with our IT Manager and hotel teams to coordinate system setups, solve technical issues, and support ongoing rollouts across our hotels. System Administration: Support configuration, maintenance, and updates of key hotel systems (PMS, POS, CRM, door locks, CCTV, etc.); Manage user accounts, permissions, and device access control; Maintain the IT asset inventory across all hotels and offices. Projects & Rollouts: Assist with IT setup for new hotels, system migrations, and hardware rollouts; Support the IT Manager in implementing new tools, integrations, and upgrades; Test and document new software or integrations before rollout. Documentation & Processes: Maintain and update IT documentation (network maps, access rights, SOPs, vendor lists); Support training of staff and intern on standard procedures and systems; Ensure IT compliance and security standards are followed company-wide; Assist with IT setup for new hotels, system migrations, and hardware rollouts. Who You Are: You have 2–4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in hospitality or a multi-site environment; Basic knowledge of networks, hardware troubleshooting and Google Workspace; Experience with hotel systems (like Mews, Lightspeed, Salto, or similar) is a strong plus; You’re organized, proactive, and communicative — able to translate tech into plain language; You thrive in a fast-moving, service-driven environment; Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus. Join the Fun & Perks: We offer a suitable salary according to the collective labour agreement for hospitality in reference scale 7; Travel allowance based on the distance between home and work (min. 15 km);

About Conscious Hotels

Industry: Hospitality

Company size: 51-200 employees

Conscious Hotels is a stunning, sustainable hotel chain in the heart of Amsterdam and Utrecht, consisting of 5 hotels: Conscious Hotel Museum Square, Conscious Hotel Vondelpark, The Tire Station, Conscious Hotel Westerpark and Conscious Hotel Oudegracht. Also the organic food and beverage concepts Sticky Fingers and grab and go Conscious Café are part of the Conscious family. We strive to be as green, sustainable and eco-friendly as possible. But we don’t think sustainability needs to be shouted in your face. That’s why we take care of all the sustainable issues quietly in the background. And do it well. No fuss. We don’t make guests feel like they have to shower using only three teaspoons of water a day. We believe we can do good while looking good. So we’re happy to spend a lot of time getting our clean, contemporary looks right. Paying attention to even the smallest details. Does that make us sound vain? We’re just being kind to the planet and ourselves. Guests have the reassurance of knowing that the hotel is run on environmentally-sound principles and is Green Key Gold Certified. For example: the furniture comes from sustainable sources, all used materials are certified or recycled and cleaning is done without using chemicals.
