Assistant Foreman Location: Breda Hours per week: fulltime, 38 hours per week Do you have experience as a technician for ISO tank containers and are you looking for an exciting challenge where you can apply your technical knowledge, while also having the opportunity to coordinate tasks within a workshop and serve as the primary point of contact for the other technicians and the depot Manager? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for an Assistant Foreman who is eager to become the linchpin of our workshop. Working in direct collaboration with the Depot Manager, you will oversee daily operations while also actively participating in challenging projects yourself. Your role? You ensure that daily operations run smoothly, while keeping an eye on planning, quality, and safety. Coordination operations: On a daily basis, you coordinate the work within a team of 10 technicians. You motivate the team and serve as the primary point of contact on the shop floor for both the Technicians and the Depot Manager. Hands-on: where necessary and possible, tou provide direct support and perform (more complex) technical tasks. Quality and progress: you manage the planning, identify bottlenecks, and escalate directly with the Depot Manager when necessary. About you To be successful int this role, you must have experience in repairing and modifying ISO Tank containers. Additionally, you are a natural proactive leader, motivator, and the go-to person for your team. You excel at maintaining the big picture and escalate directly with the Depot Manager when necessary. This means you possess technical knowledge of ISO Tank containers and have the motivation to lead a team (previous experience is a plus, but the desire to grow into this role is a must). Given the international nature of our organization, it is essential that you can communicate in both written and spoken Dutch of English. Proficiency in Romanian or Polish is strongly preferred. Core Responsibilities

Coordinate the daily work of a 10-technician team, serving as the main point of contact for technicians and the Depot Manager while supporting and motivating the team. Participate in complex technical work, manage planning and quality, monitor progress and safety, and escalate bottlenecks when needed.

Requirements

Experience repairing and modifying ISO tank containers and strong technical knowledge of them are required. The candidate should be proactive and motivated to lead a team; prior leadership experience is a plus, and written and spoken Dutch or English are essential, with Romanian or Polish strongly preferred.
