Job Description Job Title: European Logistics Manager Location: Tilburg, the Netherlands Responsibilities1. Warehouse & Inventory Management · Manage the daily operations of local European warehouses (including third-party warehouses/3PL and self-operated facilities) to ensure cargo safety as well as efficient and accurate inbound and outbound handling. · Manage and optimize warehouse operational workflows (e.g., receiving, picking, packing, labeling, stocktaking), monitor inventory accuracy, and perform periodic physical counts and reconciliation to prevent slow-moving/obsolete stock. · Manage daily relationships with local warehouse vendors (e.g., warehousing service providers, local courier and trucking companies) and regularly evaluate their KPIs and service quality. · Flexibly handle occasional and urgent operational exceptions, including but not limited to inbound receiving, order exceptions, repackaging, and relabeling. · Act as the head of the logistics department, leading the recruitment, onboarding, training/empowerment, and daily management of the logistics and warehousing team members. 2. Transportation & Distribution Network Optimization · Oversee and manage European line-haul transportation and last-mile delivery (for both B2B distributor logistics and B2C e-commerce small parcels), balancing transit times with shipping costs. · Expand and maintain local carrier resources tailored for the European market (express couriers, FTL/LTL freight forwarders, etc.) and optimize freight rates. · Handle logistics exceptions (such as cargo damage, customs delays, lost package claims) to ensure supply chain stability and resilience. 3. HQ Liaison & Cross-Border Supply Chain Alignment · Serve as the core bridge between the European subsidiary and China HQ's logistics/supply chain department, seamlessly aligning on sea/air freight bulk shipping plans, container arrival arrangements, and China-Europe Railway Express logistics. · Provide timely feedback to HQ regarding European market logistics demands, inventory warnings, and changes in customs/regulatory compliance policies. · Assist HQ in promoting the implementation and execution of global supply chain digitization and IT system initiatives within the European subsidiary. 4. Compliance & Cost Control · Ensure European warehouse and logistics operations strictly comply with local and EU laws and regulations (e.g., environmental standards, hazardous materials/consumables transport rules, customs and tax compliance). · Formulate and execute the annual European logistics budget, continuously driving down overall logistics costs through packaging optimization, route planning, and warehouse space utilization. RequirementsEducational Background · Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related majors. Work Experience · 3–5+ years of experience in local European logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management. Prior experience in European cross-border e-commerce, B2B distribution, or industrial goods logistics networks is preferred. · Work experience in multinational corporations, European subsidiaries of Chinese enterprises, or a proven track record of successfully bridging communication between China HQ and overseas branches is preferred. Professional Skills · Proficient in major European logistics carrier networks and customs import/export clearance procedures (including VAT, tariff policies, etc.). · Hands-on proficiency with mainstream ERP/WMS systems (such as LingXing WMS, ECCANG WMS, or equivalent warehouse management systems). · Solid data analysis capabilities, with the ability to optimize inventory turnover and logistics costs through data insights. Language Skills · Fluent in both Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) as daily and business working languages, as well as for seamless communication with China HQ. · Proficiency in Dutch, German, or French is a strong plus (for smoother communication with local European carriers). Coordinate cross-border supply chain activities with China headquarters, ensure regulatory compliance, and control costs through budgeting and operational optimization.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field, plus at least 3–5 years of European logistics, warehousing, or supply chain experience. Candidates should be fluent in Chinese and English, understand European carrier networks and customs procedures, and have hands-on ERP/WMS and data analysis skills; Dutch, German, or French is an advantage.
