Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Assistant Company: Concept Medical B.V. Location: Hoevelaken, The Netherlands Employment type: Full-time (hours and contract type to be confirmed) Reports to: Office Manager / Operations Lead, Concept Medical B.V. About Concept Medical Concept Medical is a global medical device company that develops, manufactures and sells drug-coated balloons and stents for cardiovascular and peripheral intervention. Our Netherlands office in Hoevelaken serves as the European hub for distribution, order fulfilment and customer support across the region. The office is small, hands-on and fast-paced, with a close working relationship with our headquarters and manufacturing site in India. Role Summary The Logistics Assistant owns the day-to-day flow of goods through our Hoevelaken warehouse: receiving incoming consignments from India, preparing and dispatching outgoing shipments to hospitals, distributors and partners across Europe and beyond, and keeping stock, transactions and documentation accurate in SAP S/4HANA. Because we handle sterile medical devices, accuracy, traceability and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities • Receive, inspect and book in incoming shipments; check quantities, lot/batch numbers, expiry dates and shipping condition against documents, and post goods receipts in SAP S/4HANA. • Process sales orders, deliveries and goods issues in SAP S/4HANA; pick, pack and dispatch customer orders, samples and consignment stock. • Arrange collection with courier and freight partners (DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc.) and select the appropriate service level. • Prepare shipping documentation including packing lists, commercial invoices, CMR notes and customs paperwork for EU and non-EU destinations. • Support import and export clearance, liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers on documentation, HS codes and duties. • Maintain accurate inventory in SAP S/4HANA at batch level; perform cycle counts and periodic stock takes, post adjustments and reconcile discrepancies with Finance and the India team. • Monitor expiry dates and apply FEFO (first-expired, first-out) rotation; quarantine, block and record damaged, expired or returned products in the system. • Manage temperature and storage conditions as required, and keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant. • Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery status to customers, sales colleagues and the India team; resolve delays, losses and damages with carriers. • Maintain batch traceability records in line with medical device quality system requirements (ISO 13485, EU MDR) and support audits and recalls using SAP data. • Generate stock, shipment and open-order reports from SAP S/4HANA for management and HQ. • Order and manage packaging, consumables and warehouse supplies. • Provide general administrative and office support as required. Requirements • MBO or HBO diploma / Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in logistics, supply chain, business administration or a related field. Recent graduates with relevant internship or work experience in logistics, warehousing or supply chain are also welcome to apply. • Ideally 2+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping or logistics coordination; experience with medical devices, pharma or other regulated goods is a strong advantage. • Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred, or ECC) in the MM / SD / inventory management area — goods receipts, goods issues, deliveries, batch management and stock reports. • Working knowledge of export/import documentation and customs processes for EU and non-EU shipments. • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. • Fluent in English (working language with our India HQ); Dutch at a professional level is preferred. • Highly accurate, organised and reliable, able to work independently in a small team. • Physically able to handle parcels and pallets; forklift or pallet-truck certification is a plus. • Right to work in the Netherlands. What We Offer • A varied, responsible role in a growing international medical device company. • Competitive salary in line with the Dutch market, plus holiday allowance and pension (details to be confirmed). • Direct exposure to international logistics and a small, supportive team.

Core Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day flow of medical devices through the warehouse, including receiving, order processing, packing, dispatch, and shipment coordination. Maintain accurate SAP inventory and batch traceability, prepare shipping and customs documents, monitor storage and expiry conditions, and support reporting, audits, and recalls.

Requirements

A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is requested, with recent graduates considered; ideally, candidates have at least two years of logistics or warehouse experience. Applicants should have hands-on SAP experience, knowledge of import/export documentation, strong Excel skills, fluent English, and high accuracy and organisation; professional Dutch and regulated-goods experience are advantages.
