About Rain for Rent International Rain for Rent International provides specialized equipment rental and fluid management solutions to industrial customers across Europe. Our portfolio includes industrial pumps, tanks, filtration systems and related equipment used in demanding industrial applications. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Operations Manager to strengthen our operations team at our Roosendaal location. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing operational activities, ensuring equipment readiness, efficient resource utilization and reliable service delivery. Working closely with the Team Lead Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. Your Responsibilities Operational Coordination Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operational activities at the Roosendaal location. Ensure efficient planning and execution of equipment preparation, dispatching, deliveries and returns. Coordinate operational priorities and ensure resources are allocated efficiently. Monitor ongoing activities and proactively address operational bottlenecks. Ensure smooth coordination between workshop, yard, logistics and field service activities. Equipment & Fleet Management Monitor equipment availability, utilization and operational readiness. Coordinate maintenance, inspections, repairs and servicing of rental equipment. Ensure equipment is prepared, tested and ready for customer deployment. Maintain accurate equipment records and ensure proper documentation. Identify opportunities to improve equipment utilization, reliability and lifecycle management. Process Management & Optimization Ensure operational processes are consistently applied and executed. Identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions to improve workflows. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational activities. Support the implementation and standardization of operational procedures. Ensure accurate use of operational systems and documentation. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the Team Lead Operations to ensure operational priorities are achieved. Coordinate with Sales to ensure customer requirements and delivery schedules are met. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve equipment-related issues. Support communication between operations, logistics, workshop and administration. Act as a central coordination point for operational matters at the location. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental requirements. Promote safe working practices throughout all operational activities. Ensure equipment handling, storage, inspections and maintenance comply with internal procedures and applicable regulations. Report safety concerns and support the implementation of corrective actions. Your Profile Several years of experience in operations, industrial services, equipment rental, logistics or a comparable technical environment. Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment, ideally pumps, tanks, filtration systems or fluid management solutions. Experience in operational planning, equipment coordination, maintenance or fleet management. Good understanding of workshop, yard and logistics processes. Strong organizational and coordination skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements. Experience working with operational KPIs and ERP systems. Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working approach. Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively across different departments. Fluent Dutch and good working proficiency in English. Valid driving licence. Core Responsibilities

Coordinate daily operations at the Roosendaal location, including equipment preparation, dispatch, deliveries, returns, maintenance, and resource allocation. Improve operational processes and equipment readiness while coordinating across sales, logistics, workshop, technical teams, and administration, and supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

Candidates should have several years of experience in operations, industrial services, equipment rental, logistics, or a comparable technical environment, along with technical knowledge of industrial equipment and experience in planning, maintenance, or fleet coordination. Strong organizational, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills, experience with operational KPIs and ERP systems, fluent Dutch, working proficiency in English, and a valid driving licence are required.
