More information on NewCold can be found at www.newcold.com and our social media: About the vacancy To support our further worldwide growth and our corporate structure, we are looking for a qualified candidate to lead our Quality Control & Assurance program in harmony with our Development Organization. You will possess all skills & experience to redefine, implement and manage NewCold QA/QC processes within NewCold Development Organization. The Development Organization is responsible for planning, design and realisation of our cold storages worldwide, from concept design to final commissioning and handover to the internal client, NewCold Operations. Our projects are typically delivered through a combination of one general contractor and several directly appointed specialist contractors, covering areas such as racking, cooling, and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong Quality Assurance background in a comparable role, either on the end-user side or with a contractor, and a proven track record of both self-direction and successful team management. The goal is to ensure that our projects worldwide are delivered consistently and systematically in line with NewCold's quality standards, supported by the appropriate documentation. This role reports to the Head of Global PSO. What will you do? Evaluate current QA/QC standards and processes along with the NewCold way of working. Set up quality management processes to guarantee compliant delivery of our projects. Communicate and implement these processes. Functionally responsible for the staff implementing the quality process on site. Audit the adherence to the process on our sites worldwide. Assist the project staff in reviewing QA/QC documentation issued to NewCold for approval. Assist and advise in recruitment / selection of project staff related to QA/QC. Assist in preparing the content of the quality standards that govern our projects. Report on a frequent basis to management typical quality related KPIs. Work closely together with the project directors / construction managers to improve the quality culture in the projects Who are we looking for? You have: Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. At least 10 years of relevant experience related to construction projects. Evidence of a strong background in Quality Management, and preferably in setting up QA processes from scratch. Willing to be travel internationally. Willing to work 80% in the head office in Breda, apart from travelling. Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment. Proficient in English, verbally and in writing. Outstanding communication skills. Excellent skills in demonstrating to stakeholders the importance and benefits of implementing a robust QA/QC process. Self-starter and a team player with strong leadership abilities. A big 'plus' is having experience with HSE related matters. Are you up for the job? Core Responsibilities

Evaluate and establish global QA/QC processes and standards for NewCold's development projects, communicate and implement them, and audit compliance at sites worldwide. Support project teams with quality documentation, staffing, standards, and KPI reporting while working with project leaders to strengthen the quality culture.

Requirements

Requires a degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering and at least 10 years of relevant construction project experience, with a strong quality management background and preferably experience establishing QA processes from scratch. Candidates must be willing to travel internationally and work 80% from the Breda head office, and should have strong communication and leadership skills, English proficiency, and ideally HSE experience.
