To be considered for this role, you must be currently based in the Netherlands and possess a valid work permit. We do not offer relocation assistance or visa sponsorship for this position. Sustaira is looking for a Senior Mendix Developer based in the Netherlands. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining solutions on the Sustaira platform together with customers and partners. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and contributing to the sustainability goals of our customers. If you are an experienced Mendix developer who wants to focus on sustainability initiatives and making a real impact, whether through our ESG platform, app template implementations, or completely custom applications, we would love to connect with you. Profile & Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of Mendix development experience, preferably in customer-facing roles Mendix Advanced Certification required, Expert Certification preferred Ability to take a leading role in customer projects and internal initiatives Highly proficient in English (C1 level or higher). Dutch is not required Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and helping professionalise a growing organisation Must already be eligible to work and reside in the Netherlands Interest in sustainability and ESG topics. Core Responsibilities
Develop and maintain solutions on the Sustaira platform, including ESG platform implementations, app templates, and custom applications. Collaborate with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that support sustainability goals.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least three years of Mendix development experience, a Mendix Advanced Certification, and highly proficient English at C1 level or higher; Expert Certification is preferred. They must already reside and be eligible to work in the Netherlands, and should be able to lead customer projects and internal initiatives; sustainability or ESG knowledge and AI integration experience are advantageous.
