Job Description

HR Advisor/Recruiter

Travis Road Services is looking for an HR Advisor/Recruiter. You will be the all-round HR professional in a small HR team consisting of an HR manager, an HR officer (24 hours/week) and a part-time interim recruiter (20 hours/week). You combine two areas: HR operations (including payroll input) and end-to-end recruitment. You support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, from the first intake for a vacancy to the last working day. This vacancy is a perfect fit for someone who has already some recruitment or HR experience and wants to progress to the role of HR Business Partner or Recruiter within a few years.

Your responsibilities

  • Run end-to-end recruitment: intake with hiring managers, sourcing, interviews, candidate communication, ATS administration and the signed offer.

  • Own onboarding and offboarding, so new colleagues are ready to start from day one.

  • Prepare and check the monthly payroll input and act as the contact for the payroll provider.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, HRIS data and standard HR documentation.

  • Maintain HR policies and act as first point of contact for HR questions from employees and managers.

  • Produce standard HR reporting on headcount, absence, turnover and recruitment.

Who are you?

  • You are an experienced HR all-rounder who enjoys both the people side of recruitment and the accuracy of HR administration and payroll.

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree (HBO) in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology or a comparable field.

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a role combining HR operations and recruitment.

  • You have hands-on experience with payroll input and working with an external payroll provider.

  • You have experience with full-cycle recruitment and structured, competency-based interviewing.

  • You have working knowledge of Dutch employment law, HR administration and absence processes.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English, spoken and written.

  • You are accurate, independent, discreet and comfortable in a dynamic scale-up environment.

What Travis Road Services offers

  • A varied, independent role in a growing scale-up with plenty of room to develop in HR.

  • You join an informal, collegial team where they help each other, give feedback and celebrate successes.

  • €3,500 – €4,500 gross per month (40 hours, 32 negotiable).

  • 8% holiday allowance.

  • Pension scheme with 2/3 of the premium paid by Travis Road Services.

  • 25 holiday days.

  • Phone, laptop and travel allowance.

  • One-year contract with the intention of a permanent contract.
