About DayOne Data Centers

DayOne Data Centers is a Singapore-headquartered global digital infrastructure platform that develops and operates next-generation data centers across Asia Pacific and Europe. Trusted by leading hyperscalers and businesses, the company engineers, builds, and operates high-capacity, AI-ready campuses with speed, scale, and reliability.

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Manager, Regional Marketing & Communications to lead DayOne's marketing, communications, branding, and stakeholder engagement activities across the European region.

Based in Europe, this role will serve as DayOne's regional marketing and communications lead, with an immediate focus on Finland and emerging growth markets such as Spain, Portugal or France amongst others. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to regional business leaders while ensuring close alignment with global marketing, communications, brand, and corporate affairs functions headquartered in Singapore.

This individual will be responsible for elevating DayOne's visibility, strengthening regional brand presence, supporting market entry and expansion initiatives, and ensuring consistent execution of global standards across all European activities.

The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capabilities and is comfortable operating in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment where building from the ground up is often required.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Planning

  • Lead the planning and execution of brand, events, content, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities across Europe.
  • Develop and maintain a Europe-wide industry engagement calendar, recommending participation priorities across regional and country-level events.
  • Align country-level initiatives into a cohesive European brand-building and market visibility strategy.

Market Development

  • Support emerging markets by establishing the appropriate marketing and communications foundations ahead of project launch and operational readiness.
  • Advise regional leadership on vendor selection, event formats, investment priorities, and visibility opportunities that support key business and project milestones.

HQ Partnership

  • Adapt and localize HQ-led programmes using regional market insights, working closely with the Brand, Campaigns, Content, Digital, and Communications & PR teams.
  • Maintain regular, structured, and proactive communication with HQ stakeholders and functional leaders to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
  • Support local communications activities in close partnership with the central Communications & PR team, which leads media relations and corporate reputation management.

Quality & Partner Management

  • Manage external agencies, vendors, and event partners across the region, ensuring high standards of execution, brand consistency, and return on investment.
  • Monitor partner performance and recommend improvements to maximize the effectiveness and quality of regional marketing and communications activities.

Experience, skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience across regional marketing and communications in an international B2B organisation.
  • Multi-country experience, working closely with business leaders.
  • Experience in a growth, market-entry or transformation setting, with clear examples of what you built or changed.
  • Able to build and prioritise a market plan, and to advise stakeholders rather than simply take requests.
  • Sound judgement on what to handle locally and what to escalate to HQ.
  • High quality bar and experience managing agencies and vendors.
  • Works independently while keeping HQ closely informed; sees the role as part of one international team.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

  • Finnish, Spanish or another European language.
  • Experience in data centres, cloud, technology, energy, infrastructure or other complex B2B sectors.

Why Join DayOne?

  • Be a part of a company scaling fast in a booming industry.
  • Work on an international stage with global leaders.
  • Shape your career in a culture that values curiosity, agility, and bold thinking.
