We bid against large international players. We don’t win by spending more, but by steering smarter. As Senior SEA Specialist, you lead the way in SEA. You are trusted to make your own decisions within your domain. You come up with proposals, test them, and scale what works. You work closely with fellow specialists, developers, and our Head of Performance Marketing. AI is a requirement for this role. AI alone doesn’t make campaigns better; the way you use it does. With 11 languages, multiple markets and a large budget, there are plenty of opportunities to steer smarter. Which ones? That’s exactly what we’re curious about. We expect you to come up with applications we haven’t thought of yet, test them, and scale what works. That’s how you set the standard for AI use in SEA. You will work on Ownership of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads across multiple languages and markets, with a monthly budget of more than €1,000,000 Steering on real value: further developing value-based bidding and offline conversion imports, so we bid on CLV rather than clicks Setting up experiments that prove incrementality, so you know which euro really drives additional growth Building AI tools, scripts and automations, together with development where needed Testing new channels, segments, ad formats and beta features Translating data into clear proposals and a roadmap, and executing them yourself Who we are looking for You work and think at a higher education (HBO/WO) level. You have 5+ years of experience as an SEA specialist and have managed large budgets (100k+ per month). You have experience with both Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. You have experience with value-based bidding and offline conversion imports. You can set up experiments that prove incrementality. You work independently, take ownership and would rather decide yourself than wait for approval. You can show how you have used AI to improve campaign performance. You are available 32 to 40 hours per week and have good written and spoken English. You recognize yourself in our core values. Core Responsibilities

Own and optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns across multiple languages and markets, managing a monthly budget exceeding €1,000,000. Develop value-based bidding and offline conversion imports, run incrementality experiments, build AI tools and automations, test new channels and formats, and turn data into proposals and an actionable roadmap.

Requirements

Requires higher-education-level thinking, at least five years of SEA experience, and experience managing monthly budgets of €100,000 or more across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Candidates should have experience with value-based bidding, offline conversion imports, incrementality testing, and using AI to improve campaign performance, as well as independence, ownership, and good written and spoken English.
