This is not a fully remote assignment. About the assignment: Reynard High Voltage Solutions is looking for an experienced Interim Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to connect our business teams with our external software development team and help improve our processes and internal systems. The assignment combines three priorities: delivering developments within our internal platform, Toolbox Suite; improving business processes and documentation; and preparing the foundation for a future SAP implementation. You will report to and work closely with our IT Lead, collaborate directly with our Crewing, Recruitment and Warehouse teams in Nieuw-Vennep, and act as the day-to-day link with our external development team in India. Key responsibilities: Toolbox Suite delivery Work alongside business users to understand their daily processes, challenges and requirements. Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and a prioritised backlog. Align delivery priorities with the IT Lead and relevant stakeholders. Provide business context to developers and explain technical questions or constraints to users. Coordinate demos, user acceptance testing and feedback, supporting adoption of delivered features. Monitor progress, identify functional blockers and keep stakeholders informed. Process improvement and knowledge management Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation and optimisation. Create as-is and to-be process flows using BPMN or similar methods where appropriate. Develop clear business, process and functional documentation. Help establish a structured knowledge base that makes information accessible and reduces reliance on individual employees. Support stakeholder engagement, change management and a repeatable approach to future systems development. SAP readiness Assess relevant processes, requirements, dependencies and master-data needs. Work with stakeholders to define key decisions and preparation activities. Develop a high-level roadmap for a future SAP implementation. This assignment does not include selecting or implementing SAP. Your profile: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Product Owner, Functional Consultant or in a comparable role connecting business and software development. Experience translating unclear or complex business needs into actionable development work. Strong business-process analysis skills and the ability to challenge existing ways of working constructively. Experience with Agile teams, backlogs, user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience producing structured business, process and functional documentation. Strong facilitation, stakeholder-management and change-management skills. A hands-on approach, including observing users and asking follow-up questions to clarify their needs. Confidence working independently with clear delivery objectives. Ability to communicate effectively with operational colleagues, managers and software developers. Excellent English communication skills. Preferred experience: ERP implementation or preparation, ideally SAP. Master data management and data governance. BPMN and as-is/to-be process modelling. Knowledge management and structured documentation. Crewing, recruitment, warehouse, logistics or related operational processes. Offshore or international development teams. Custom-built internal business applications. User acceptance testing and change adoption. Expected outcomes: By the end of the assignment, you will have helped deliver practical Toolbox Suite improvements, established a repeatable delivery process, documented key business processes and created the foundation for a sustainable knowledge base. You will also have clarified the requirements and preparation needed for a future SAP implementation. How to apply: Add in your CV a section with details of comparable assignments where you connected business users and software developers, improved and documented processes, or prepared an organisation for systems transformation.

Core Responsibilities

Connect business users with the external development team to deliver prioritized improvements to the Toolbox Suite, including requirements definition, demos, testing, and adoption support. Improve and document business processes, establish a knowledge base and repeatable delivery practices, and prepare a high-level roadmap and requirements for a future SAP implementation.

Requirements

The role requires proven experience as a senior business analyst, product owner, functional consultant, or in a comparable business-to-software delivery role, with strong process analysis, Agile backlog, documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills. Candidates should be hands-on, able to work independently, and communicate effectively in English; SAP or ERP preparation, BPMN, master data, operational processes, and international development experience are preferred.

When your high-voltage project depends on safe, reliable connections, you need specialists who get every connection right. Reynard supports offshore and onshore energy projects with specialist high-voltage services. Whether you need termination and testing, ready-terminated and tested HV cables, maintenance, fault-finding, or rapid-response support, our teams provide the craftsmanship to keep your project moving.
