Job Description
At Euclyd, we build chips and systems that make advanced AI radically more energy-efficient and affordable. Around our own processor architecture, we’re developing a complete AI compute platform: custom silicon, stacked memory, advanced packaging, boards, firmware, system software, developer tools and full datacenter systems. As Software Program Manager, you own the delivery plan for firmware and software across the product program, and you carry that plan through post-silicon bring-up to a platform our customers can use. You work with the firmware, system software and runtime, compiler and tools, kernels, ML and DevOps teams, and with the silicon, board, validation, product and partner leads whose work feeds into software or depends on it. What you’ll do Own the delivery plan: the integrated firmware and software plan, with its deliverables, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks and the evidence required at each gate. Plan releases along the hardware sequence: from simulator and emulation to FPGA prototype, first silicon and production boards, so each platform has the firmware, drivers, runtime, tools and test content it needs when it becomes available. Lead the bring-up plan: together with the engineering leads, covering lab and board readiness, the bring-up sequence, entry and exit criteria, debug triage, and the path from first power-on to a usable software platform. Track readiness, not just dates: measure progress against agreed gate and hand-off criteria. Spot risks early: interface gaps, late inputs and emerging critical-path risks. Bring the right people together to resolve them, and prepare recovery options that show clearly what each means for schedule, resources, cost and downstream milestones. Manage external partners: coordinate software-related deliverables from IP and tool vendors, board and lab suppliers and software contractors, with clear owners, acceptance criteria and hand-off dates, and escalate discrepancies early. Run focused reviews: execution and readiness reviews for software releases, bring-up milestones and platform readiness, with clear exit criteria and evidence. Keep the records straight: decisions, dependencies, risks and changes up to date, agreed actions closed, and the software and bring-up view reflected in the integrated product-program baseline. Help shape how we deliver: build practical Program Delivery methods and tooling as the organisation grows. How you’ll work You’re part of the Program Delivery team and work day to day with the engineering leads in software and silicon, with product management and with our partnerships team. The engineers own the technical decisions and the technical evidence. You make sure the required work, interfaces and decisions come together at the right time. Before first silicon, our software runs on simulators, emulation and FPGA prototypes. Once silicon arrives, the critical path runs through bring-up. You make sure the software is ready for each of these steps, and that every hand-off between hardware and software is agreed in advance, with a clear owner and clear entry criteria. You have enough technical depth to ask the right questions, recognise weak assumptions and see the delivery consequences of engineering decisions, without replacing the technical leads. When a board doesn’t boot or a register description is missing, you understand what that means for the plan for the coming weeks, without having to debug it yourself. What you bring At least 5 years of experience as a software program manager or technical program manager, delivering embedded, firmware or system software alongside hardware development. Hands-on bring-up experience: at least one hardware bring-up or new product introduction in which software had to be ready for first silicon or first boards. Deep-tech understanding: a working knowledge of semiconductors, electronics, embedded systems or a comparable development environment. A solid grasp of the software life cycle, including integration, test, release and configuration management. Practical Agile experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence or GitLab, and the judgement to fit them to the gate-driven schedule of a hardware program. Dependency management across disciplines: firmware, system software, developer tools, verification, external partners and manufacturing, including the hand-offs between hardware availability, bring-up, software enablement and platform readiness. Strong planning skills for dependencies, risks, changes and actions, and the drive to go beyond status reporting and push issues to resolution. Credibility with senior specialists: you challenge plans constructively without taking over their technical authority. A technical or engineering degree, or comparable experience. Clear, concise communication and disciplined follow-through. Medior or senior? We’re open to both. As Software Program Manager, you independently own a major software workstream with cross-functional interfaces, for example firmware and drivers, compiler and tools releases, or the bring-up plan for one platform. As Senior Software Program Manager, you integrate the complete firmware and software program, with multiple critical paths, external-partner dependencies, senior stakeholders and real impact on product readiness and roadmap dates. You resolve conflicts across workstreams, drive recovery plans and give program leadership a dependable product-level view. This usually comes with 8 or more years of program or project management experience. Good to know We’re a scale-up. Many of our plans and processes are still being set up, and you’ll help shape them. If you need everything defined before you can start, this isn’t your job. If you get energy from bringing structure to a complex, fast-moving program, it probably is! What we offer A key role in taking a new AI compute platform from simulator to first silicon and into customers’ hands, working alongside senior specialists in silicon, systems and software. You’ll have real influence on how Euclyd delivers and room to grow along with the company. We offer a competitive salary depending on your experience, plus holiday allowance and standard secondary benefits. Interested? Send a short introduction and your CV or LinkedIn profile to [email protected]. Tell us why this role appeals to you and about a bring-up or release you helped get across the line.

About EUCLYD
Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing
Company size: 11-50 employees
EUCLYD is an AI infrastructure company from Eindhoven. We design the processors, memory architecture and datacentre systems that run advanced AI models at a fraction of today's power and cost. The company was founded by Bernardo Kastrup and Atul Sinha, who previously built Silicon Hive and sold it to Intel. Eindhoven is where the world learnt to make more from less silicon, and that discipline runs through everything Euclyd designs. The company is headquartered at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, Europe’s smartest square kilometre.
