Your Internship Experience At ASICS Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll join the FP&A team and gain valuable hands-on experience in an international business environment. During your internship, you'll gain practical experience in financial reporting, planning and forecasting activities across ASICS EMEA, supporting financial analysis, management reporting, and planning coordination whilst developing your understanding of commercial finance, business performance, and strategic decision-making. As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience, share your ideas, and develop valuable skills while contributing to a team that inspires movement. Your key responsibilities will be: Support the preparation of management presentations for the Executive Team and ASICS Headquarters (AHQ), ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyse financial data, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year across business channels and product categories. Assist in financial planning and forecasting activities by maintaining planning templates, tracking submissions, and supporting the completion of planning cycles. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Support the standardization and automation of reporting templates, helping streamline reporting activities and improve consistency. Assist in improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency across financial deliverables. Collaborate closely with the FP&A Manager, Senior FP&A Controller, Finance team members, and other stakeholders to gather inputs, ensure alignment, and maintain consistency across reports and planning submissions. You have the following skills: Must be enrolled at a Dutch University for the entire duration of the internship. Availability from February/March for 5-6 months. Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics studies Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, SAP Analytical Cloud is preferred. Good communication and organizational skills. Core Responsibilities

Support management reporting and presentations by collecting, consolidating, validating, and analyzing financial data, including variance analysis across channels and product categories. Assist with planning and forecasting cycles, improve reporting processes and templates, and coordinate with finance colleagues and stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent deliverables.

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled at a Dutch university throughout the internship and be available for five to six months starting in February or March. The role is suited to students in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics who have strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; ERP or SAP experience is preferred.
