Every individual is empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact. We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.

Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride.

Help Shape the Future of Connected Healthcare

At Baxter, our mission is simple: Saving and Sustaining Lives. As a Connectivity Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing connected healthcare solutions to hospitals across the Benelux region. Partnering closely with Account Managers, hospital stakeholders, and IT teams, you will drive the implementation of smart beds and connected medical devices that improve clinical workflows and patient care.

We're looking for a hands-on, agile professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating across functions, and is passionate about advancing healthcare through technology.

What You'll Do

Lead Connectivity Implementations

  • Manage the local deployment of connected medical devices in hospitals, in line with regional connectivity strategy.
  • Partner with hospital IT teams and key stakeholders to develop and execute successful implementation plans.
  • Identify decision-makers and influencers involved in connectivity initiatives and help advance Baxter's intelligent healthcare solutions within their organizations.
  • Train end users and provide Level 1 post-go-live support, including incident management and escalation.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Sales Managers, and Connectivity Implementation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Support Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Activities

  • Participate in consultative discussions with healthcare providers to design connectivity solutions that support their clinical workflows.
  • Work alongside marketing and clinical teams to develop connected care pathways and workflow solutions for healthcare facilities.

What You'll Bring

You are a self-starter who can turn strategy into action and build trusted relationships across all levels of healthcare organizations, including senior hospital leadership. You combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare technology integration.

Technical Expertise

  • Experience implementing and supporting medical device connectivity solutions in hospital environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORM, ORU) and healthcare interoperability workflows.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks, VLANs, firewalls, and secure hospital IT infrastructures.
  • Experience deploying virtual machines in VMware ESXi or Hyper-V environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows and Linux Server environments, SQL databases, and cybersecurity requirements for connected medical devices.
  • Experience with interface testing and end-to-end troubleshooting between medical devices and EHR/EMR systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DICOM, FHIR, and IHE profiles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, biomedical engineering, and IT infrastructure teams.

Professional Experience & Skills

  • Strong understanding of healthcare environments, clinical workflows, and healthcare data integration.
  • Proven success in managing projects and influencing multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an advantage.

Why Join Baxter?

This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, helping hospitals leverage connected technologies that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Join a team that is transforming healthcare while making a meaningful impact on lives every day.
